I took my truck here for front end damage. After it was "fixed" I took it home only to find out the front bumper was installed incorrectly (see picture). They used big washers to attempt to shim the bumper mount instead of fixing the mount. If that wasn't bad enough, the new front bumper started rusting 6 months after the repair! I contacted Northside and they said they would not replace the rusty bumper. The only reason I did not give them 1 star was because they did a nice job matching the paint and they were polite.

Awesome Body Shop....Above and beyond my expectations. After an accident I was told 2-3 weeks to complete repairs. They communicated with me daily, and my car was done perfectly a day before the 2 week mark. They also cleaned and detailed my car inside and out. Nobody likes to have to go to a body shop, but if/when I have to, it will be Northside
View on GoogleOnly had my new (used) car for a day and a half before a young lady drove into my car, and it not only wrecked the back fenders, but left the back driver side wheel badly bent. Northside Collision did a 10/10 job repairing my car like the accident never happened! Not only did they take care of a rental car from Enterprise, but they kept in daily contact via text messages to update me on the repair process. I would definitely give Northside Collision more than 5 stars on Google if it were possible!
View on Google2022 Ram 1500, tailgate and bumper replacement due to rear end damage. The initial quote for repair was 14 days. Then it was 27 days. It ended up being 28 days. From the initial estimate appointment, I was scheduled for "the first available" appointment 3 weeks out on a Friday at 730am. Upon drop off, I was informed that this location that advertises loaner cars, in fact had no loaner cars. I was assured that someone would call me as soon as one became available. The following Monday, I received a call at closing time to advise me that they were still waiting for parts to be delivered. Still not sure why I was told to drop my vehicle off, with no loaner car, to not even have my vehicle touched for 4 whole days, but apparently that's how they operate. Twelve days after dropping my vehicle off, I called to see if any loaner cars had become available, as I had not been contacted about one. After being put on hold, transferred several times, and hung up on(whether purposeful or not), I finally spoke to someone that said a loaner car was available. I didn't know whether to be happy or annoyed, considering no one initiated contact with me as they said they would. On the deadline day, the 27th day of not having my vehicle, I received a call after the shop was already closed for the day, to advise me that the rear bumper step pad that Northside replaced was the incorrect one. The employee went on to state that he would promptly email me a photo of it and that if I did not like it, it would be replaced by Northside with the correct one. He also went on to advise me that it would be a quick job that I would be able to wait for, once parts arrived in shop. I accepted this offer, as I found the incorrectly installed bumper step pad to be unsightly. The employee ensured me that someone would call me in the morning to pick up my vehicle. Nobody called. At 1pm, I called them and there seemed to be a lot of confusion on Northside's part as to whether or not I could pick up my vehicle. Half an hour later, they figured it out and I was allowed to pick it up. After returning home, it came to my attention that the tailgate liner was bowed out. Northside essentially told me that eventhough they replaced the tailgate, it was not their responsibility to replace the liner on the tailgate, unless I wanted to contact my insurance company and file an additional claim. I also found "scuff" marks on the passenger front bumper that were not there prior to Northside having my vehicle for 4 full weeks. Unfortunately for me, I did not take photos all around my vehicle prior to dropping it off, so I could not prove it. Lesson learned. As of today, I've had my vehicle back for 19 days, and still nobody has contacted me about making good in regards to properly replacing the bumper step pad with the correct part. I'm not sure if they find all of this to be acceptable due to me claiming the damage on my insurance, but regardless of who paid them, $6500 is a lot of money to leave a customer unsatisfied. I sure would not recommend Northside Collision on Burnet Avenue to anybody. I can only hope that their other locations are far superior to this one, as they've been a local staple for decades.
View on GoogleI'm a traveling construction worker who had the misfortune of hitting a deer in Central NY on my way to my folks house for Christmas. I drive a 2019 Dodge Charger R/T. As any Mopar enthusiast will tell you, my car is second only to my children. I was horrified of the possible outcomes. Northside Collision did the absolute impossible and fixed my car to perfection. No gaps in the lines, no high spots, everything was repaired to within an 1/8th of an inch. This isn't the regular "fix it" shop where your car comes back "as good as they could get it". My car came back to me looking as sexy and as beautiful as the day I drove her off the dealership lot. The craftsmanship put into my car was beyond expectation. They fixed my car the way I would've fixed my car. No amount of gratitude is enough for these people. And I haven't even spoke about the customer service. Lemme tell you, Sarah in the office is one of the nicest gals I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Not only did she keep me informed of everything that was going on, but also made sure my rental was dropped off. These people are highly skilled and they know how to treat their clientele. There is no amount of praise or recommendation that I can give. These people are hands down the best.
