Bob is an honest man. Had my car to 3 different shops and finally ended up at John D's, recommended by a dear friend. Best advice I ever received! Bob got the job done at originally quoted price and time frame. Actually sooner AND he saved me $3000!!!? Highly taking your car here for all it's needs, I know I finally found a fair and honest mechanic!!! Thank you Bob ✌️🙏

I couldn't be happier about the service I received at this fine establishment. I had to bring in my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for it's 60k service. When I went into the dealership (Romano) to get an estimate a couple weeks ago, the man told me "about $425." Cool, not that bad. I called again the day before I was going to go in to confirm the cost. Another person is now saying $925!!! What?! My car is only worth $15k. Why would I pay $1,000 for routine maintenance? I called Firestone. They said $650! Then I asked a local friend for a recommendation. He said "call Bob Rice" at John D's. I called Bob. He estimated about $250 on the phone. That's what I'm talking about. I drop the car off and ask him to call me if something comes up or if it's going to cost a lot more. The only call I get was him telling me the car was ready a few hours later. Total cost: $110. Amazing. He said that we didn't have to do all the factory recommended services, because they are exactly that: recommended. If the spark plugs are working, why would I replace them? If I'm not using my car as a fleet vehicle, why would I change my transmission fluid? I'm sure repairs/service is a huge profit center for the dealership, but I don't need to make anyone richer unnecessarily. Plus all the extra trash and toxic fluids are bad for the environment! The icing on the cake: something was wrong with my tail light. Bob fixed it for a total cost of $3. No charge for labor. I didn't think good men like this existed. Thanks for saving me a bunch of money and renewing my faith in honest people!

Honest work, from an incredibly experienced and innovative mechanic. Bob is unafraid to try work arounds to keep the cost down and is always pleasant and understanding when explaining the whump-whump sound or the strange thing my car is doing. Being a young, single woman I have had many mechanics take me to the cleaners only to have a friend tell me what happened was too expensive or unnecessary. Not the case with Bob at all! Several times the work has been completed under the quoted price and he ALWAYS shows me the damaged parts without my asking. Once he patched a tire I didn't even know was leaking without being asked... there was no charge on my bill. More often than not the repair is more affordable than I was expecting and he has done extra work because he saw something that could have been a problem in the future. This is the only shop I use unless something is out of his realm of experience/facilities (and he is unafraid to say so). If you stumbled on this shop, you are lucky. You won't ever want anyone else under your hood.

John D auto shop is great. Robert does a great service every time we have an issue with our cars. He is very prompt in making repairs and friendly, and always makes time for us in his busy shop. When I have a problem with my car, I trust Robert at John D's to take a look at it and fix it!

Very honest and skillful man! My car had brake vibration problem. I went to Midas and they charged me 40 bucks but found nothing. SO I decided to come here and he easily found It and fixed it, with a fair price. Thanks!
