Chris Reed from Reeds Garage decided to take it in his own hands to make my AAA claim a private pay claim for a simple tow (without even looking at the car first). Because of this AAA wouldn’t cover the tow and the original price of $225 for the tow he gave me at the time of the tow jumped to $1,296 for a TOW! He stated this was because he needed to get a second tow truck there to “block traffic”, the second tow truck was a BUDDY in his PERSONAL CAR that parked his car on the side of the road. The tow took a total of 10 minutes once they finally started. The most money hungry man (CHRIS REED) and business. Absolutely disgusting. As a 22 year old female who knows little to nothing about cars, he sure took advantage as soon as he saw it was me alone. Mind you they held my car there until the bill was paid and since I wasn’t able to pay charged an additional 75 dollars a day. Then all of a sudden when I wanted to send an insurance agent out to the garage to look at the car Chris Reed switched up and said they didn’t have room for my car to be looked at or fixed there and to bring it somewhere else. Funny enough this happened after I called him out for INSURANCE FRAUD and let him know I have him on video contradicting himself and blatantly lying. (I’m 22 and have fun vlogging my life guess it paid off) Silly silly. Overall money hungry and will take advantage of people whenever they can.

Absolutely a scam of a garage. Charged someone I knew over a grand just for a tow out of a ditch…. The breakdown of the bill was 800 for original tow and then 300 something extra for a second tow? Which was his worker coming in his personal vehicle to assist…. Never should a tow cost this much. Greedy greedy garage do not recommend. EXPECIALLY IF UR A GIRL AND ALONE THEY WILL SCAM U , oh then its extra money each day for them to hold ur car if you cant come up with the money the day of to pick it up.

I would have to say Reeds Garage may be the most disrespectful, greedy, inconsiderate tow company or any company I've ever had run-ins with. I was an hour and a half from home and blew a radiator hose , which I was able to fix. The only issue was all my antifreeze was gone. I was 2.4 miles from a gas station that sold antifreeze. I had already been on the side of the road for two hours no heat and 9° degrees outside. I was beyond cold. The tow truck driver refused to give me a ride unless I found someone I knew who had AAA and used their AAA membership to give me a TOW not a ride but put my truck and two four wheelers in his flatbed and then bring me the 2.4 miles to get a $18 gallon jug if antifreeze. He even attempted to coach me through on what to tell AAA so that I could use someone else's membership who wasn't even with me. After I explained to the kid I didn't know of anyone who I could call that time of night just to see if they had AAA and I also didn't feel comfortable doing that because I wasn't sure it was legal to do. His response was " I get people to do it all the time. It doesn't matter to me who's who as long as I get paid, but hey look at the bright side it's only 9 degrees and the gas station is only 2.4 miles. I'm sure you'll be alright." And left. I walked the 2.4 miles there and 2.4 miles back with the antifreeze and sustained frostbite that has to be medically treated. I understand that running a tow truck business has a lot of cost and I could only imagine what those big diesel flat beds cost but not to give someone stranded in these weather conditions is just unethical. On top of that the pain and loss of work I'm going to encounter because I didn't think it was right to wake someone up to use their AAA membership, which I'm still not sure is legal. Its a darn shame that there are people out there as greedy as this company.

Jerry got my truck in shortly after I dropped it off and diagnosed the problem. Gave me a call with my quote and within a couple of days (being the holiday) it was all done. Great service, good price and friendly atmosphere.

I want to Thank Chris Reed and Fred for their excellent compassion and service in helping me on Sunday September 24. I was returning from a motorcycle event in Mexico NY. At 4:45pm while traveling West bound on route 104, my motorcycle decided to have a rear tire failure. While fishtailing across both lanes and finally coming to a stop on the West bound shoulder, I laid the bike down and sat on the guardrail to collect my thoughts on what to do. About 5 minutes later a man and his wife, traveling East bound, stopped and asked if they could help me out. This gentleman was Chris Reed. After helping me right the bike, he introduced himself and told me that he owned Reeds Garage in Savannah and would help me get towed to a garage. Within 20 minutes from me saying YES, Fred arrived with a special motorcycle rig for the flatbed truck. Fred carefully secured my machine to the flatbed with enough straps to ensure it wasn't going anywhere. Fred then gave me a ride to Ontario N.Y. and delivered the motorcycle to a repair shop. Fred was such a gentleman with helping me out and was gracious to my wife when she came to get me. Truly Chris and Fred were like having providence looking over my shoulder. I cannot be thankful enough for their concern over my well-being and that of my motorcycle. I wish Chris and Fred and everyone at Reeds Garage the very best in life. Thank you again!
