RNR Tire Express (Schenectady, NY)

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with RNR Tire Shop. I fell behind on payments, which I acknowledge, but the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable and wildly unprofessional. Instead of using lawful, standard recovery procedures, a representative from this company came onto my vehicle and cut off all four valve stems with a saw, rendering the car undrivable. This was not only excessive, it crossed a serious line. There are established, legal ways to address late payments—communication, repossession, written notices—not intentional damage to someone’s property. This approach felt punitive, reckless, and unsafe. Actions like this escalate situations unnecessarily and expose customers and the public to risk. Regardless of payment status, no business should take matters into their own hands in a way that appears destructive or retaliatory. I strongly believe customers should be treated with professionalism and respect, even during disputes. There are better, lawful ways to handle these situations, and RNR Tire Shop failed badly here. I would urge anyone considering this company to think carefully about how they handle conflict and customer issues when things don’t go perfectly. Also, the Representatives that came was being very intimidating to my girlfriend. She actually called me scared. Very BAD BUSINESS.

Was in there in October and the staff was phenomenal. Christian goes above and beyond for the customers. I was in yesterday due to a nail in my tire, and the kid helping me was awesome ( wish I could remember his name ). Also Christian took the time to help my husband and I to get quotes for other things. I will definitely recommenend you guys to everyone who needs tires. It's quick, hassel free, easy payments, and the staff is phenomenal.

Chances of me coming back is not likely.. went for 1 new tire. price went from 160 to 500.. was told needed new wheel studs because the old ones was rusted. Said cool replace them all. Price went to 220. Next thing wheel stud breaks and new wheel hub is needed I'm then told everything will be 320 said fine again. They tell me I'm ready and say the final now 499🤦🏾‍♂️😆.. mind u got my breaks done day before tire comes off no problem . Get here and they break in the wheel hub.. yall got it.. all I can say is at your own risk

I had a great experience at RNR Tire Express. Kendell, who was wearing a Buffalo Bills hat, helped me out and was extremely friendly and professional. They gave me an amazing rate and took care of the tire installation quickly. The whole team was welcoming and easy to work with. It’s great supporting a local business that truly takes care of its customers. Honestly, they outperformed places like Mavis Discount Tire and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in both service and price. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my tire needs.
