Chaffee Rt. 16 Auto Repair

I discovered this garage about 1 1/2 years ago , ever since this is the only place we take our vehicles, for our entire family. They have replaced a VW transmission and transfer case on my daughter’s car as well as an oil change and new tires , they did front bearings and brakes on my truck , I just picked up my father in laws car that needed a valve cover gasket. We handle a lot of our own maintenance and smaller repairs, but I know where to go when it’s something we aren’t sure on or don’t have the tools , knowledge or equipment to handle something. It’s nice to have a small town garage we can trust . The pricing is very fair and they have had our vehicles back in a timely manner each time. They have handled everything from American cars to foreign for us , small issues to large , they get it done efficiently!

So, bit on a long story but here goes. Live about 5 miles from the shop. Right after they had just opened my car battery was dead and I needed a jump. I called and they came over and got me started right up. To my horror I only had $8 cash on me. No problem they said. About a year goes by and now I have a vintage RV. It died in a busy intersection. Had it towed over to their shop figuring I owed them some business after their good deed to me. They had my RV up and running in 3 days. Took 2 days for the ordered part to come in. Not bad at all for a 1978 van. They sorted out the issue, inspected the vehicle for me, and I was on the road for a very reasonable sum. Two weeks later I’m back to the shop after a deer hit me coming home from a trip. The guys give it a look over and agree with my hopeful wish that the damage is all cosmetic. They tell me what to keep an eye on just in case and off I go at no charge. I tipped them for their time. Glad to have a new shop close to home that does good work at fair prices.

Great service I bring my Audi and my girlfriends Chevy there for everything and there always great with service and getting the job done quickly and efficiently, great quality!

This shop is simply the best in all of America! I moved to Ohio and I still bring all my vehicles to him for anything and everything. I literally paid over $1000 in towing to have Andrew look at my truck when my motor went bad. He went above and beyond getting it replaced fast and the low price shocked me. I’ve also brought him my truck thinking my transmission is shot, but no, he worked his magic, got me going fast and didn’t charge me a dime. Andrew is a true genius. He’s honest and cares about his customers. You will do yourself and your vehicles a disservice if you don’t use his shop. I’m having issues with my Audi now and guess where I’m bringing it….Only to the best shop I can think of, Chaffee Rt16 Auto!

Andrew is the greatest. One of the fairest mechanics I have seen in a long time. Not only did he go out of his way to bring my vehicle back to me, he realized we were out of gas and took money out of his own pocket to put in my tank. He didn't play The guessing game he diagnosed like all mechanics should. He only fix the issues that we needed and didn't point out extra things to make money. I am very pleased with his services and would highly recommend him to anybody else. Thank you Andrew and I will look forward to seeing you again.
