Harbor House Inn

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Sackets Harbor and this precious inn was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and so clean. Check in was so easy. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. 10/10 recommend

Been coming here for years from Michigan. We appreciate the comforts of this hotel and absolutely love the location. But there are a couple things to keep in mind: ac units do NOT have a fan-only mode. So there's no way to drown out the considerable noise from the neighboring bars, restaurants, parking lot or the hallway breakfast nook. And when the ac cycles on, it makes a loud racket that will wake you up every time. There's also no audible fan in the bathroom. Both omissions are surprising for a hotel of this caliber when places like Red Roof Inn has both. Also, don't count on bathrobes. Apparently those are only for rooms with bathtubs despite the room description saying otherwise. That's a nitpick but it's amazing the how much difference an included bathrobe can make for some folks. I often hear "It's the kind of place that has bathrobes in the room." Maybe that's code for"boutique hotel", dunno. Anyway, great place but bring ear plugs (and possibly your own bath robe).

We loved our stay the the in . The staff were very friendly and the rooms were beautiful. The town is very quiet so we enjoyed our time walking by the water and exploring the town. The owner did a great job renovating the space. There was an assortment of coffee, tea, juices and pastries every day. We would definitely recommend this hotel

Very cute place. Loved our stay. Management was amazing. They are remodeling upstairs for summer and it should be amazing!

This small hotel is a real find! Nestled between a fun restaurant and a quaint neighborhood is the Harbor House Inn. Our room was on the small size, but it was otherwise such a pleasant surprise. First, it was squeaky clean. Next, it was very tastefully decorated. Okay, climbing into bed was just that--a climb. However, the bed was super-duper comfortable. After a hard day's drive, it was great to snuggle into the warm covers. The bathroom was perfectly appointed with perfectly fluffy and soft towels. Joe, the helpful person who answered the phone and made the reservation was very helpful and informative. He leaves the inn at 4:00 PM, which was odd, in my mind, but we had the number of someone who we could call if we needed anything--which we did not. What would have made this location ideal would have been a water view. Still, I will take clean, tasteful, and comfortable over a so-so room with a water view any day. Would I return to the Harbor House Inn again? In a heartbeat!
