After speaking to multiple shops, Auto Tech Pitstop was the one I felt most confident with and they proved me right. I came in with a plan that hasn’t really been done before, and for the few that have been done there’s barely any information out there a VR30 transmission swap on an AWD G37 coupe something most shops wouldn't even touch, and the ones that would were quoting crazy money. These guys made it happen!! Communication throughout the whole process was great; Jamal kept me in the loop every step of the way. Along with the swap, they handled an upgraded flex plate, radiator, and some maintenance work as well. Even through some unexpected challenges, they worked with me the whole way through. The attention to detail and willingness to work with me on a non-standard build really set them apart. Couldn’t be happier with the results and I’m already looking forward to bringing the car back for the next phase of the build. If you want a shop that actually knows what they’re doing, this is the place. I appreciate you guys for everything.

Have been taking my Benz there for over year now and am very satisfied with Jamal (the owner), Ricky (Main Tech) & his staff at this very convenient location. The shop specializes in European Cars, as well as domestic and Asian imports. They maintain a very clean and organized shop. Also, they do high-performance tuning and have recommendations if you're interested in auto detailing and paint work. The crew has done major work on my car: Front Suspension Replacement (Struts/Control Arms); Brakes/Rotors; Wheel Alignment; Emissions (Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement); Oil Changes (Every 6-Months). The prices are very good and the quality of workmanship is excellent. Jamal works with you and provides the best prices for what you need. I only want MB/OEM parts used on my car. Jamal makes sure that what I get what I want, and the part prices are much better than what you pay, if you purchased from the dealer. They don't have wheel alignment equipment at the Long Island location, however it's at their Queens shop, appx 20-mins away. The guys there did an amazing job. Of note, next door there is a Tire Repair/Sales Shop next door, Best Buy Used Tire Inc., not affiliated with Auto Tech, however they refer business to each other & you can pay for tire service via Auto Tech. Last year I had them install 4 new tires that I purchased from Tire Rack, and they did all the work and wheel balancing. Those guys were very good, professional, fast & no scratches on my spotless rims. Highly recommended!!!

I rarely write reviews, but this shop absolutely deserves one. I had an excellent experience with Auto Tech Pitstop Long Island and will definitely be returning for any future work. Jamal was incredibly professional and I had the best communication I've ever experienced when dealing with a repair shop. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, and made sure I understood my options. I brought my 2017 Lexus IS 300 F Sport in for several repairs, including replacing the control arms, diagnosing and fixing a rattling exhaust noise, and addressing a few other minor issues. After scheduling an appointment online, I dropped the car off on Thursday and had it back by Saturday with everything completed.

I’ve brought my car to auto tech pitstop three times now and every experience has been great. The team is always fast and efficient, and they make the whole process smooth and stress-free. Jamal is so nice, communicates clearly, and always does his best to work with me. I really appreciate how transparent and responsive they are throughout the process. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but this one definitely earns it. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service!

Oh, to be a girl at a mechanic shop- never a fun experience, but this auto shop made the experience much more bearable and convenient. Went in for an oil change as one of the men were busy , he communicated to me the amount of time it would be and I waited. The entire experience was less than 40 minutes. Clean , Cool , Convenient. Thanks for the oil change !!
