I've only ever had good experiences at this location. I honestly don't know much about cars, but I try to do my research. Whenever I have questions, Billy (the manager who is usually manning the front desk) is willing to help. He is clearly knowledgeable and tries to be efficient, and I never feel like I'm being taken for a ride. I trust Monro with my oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and state inspections. When I first moved to NY, and had to pass a state inspection on a tight deadline, I didn't realize front window tint was an automatic fail. Billy let me know before he even started the inspection that I needed to get it fixed and, when I asked, gave me options of where to go to get the tint removed (cheaply and quickly) so I could pass the inspection by the end of the day. That day was a miserable combination of sickness and stress, and he helped get done what needed to be done. I'm new to cars, and have noticed my brake pads have gained more give in the last year. I asked to be shown the brake pads during my oil change, and Billy was able to bring me by my car and point out and explain the good condition of my brake pads and rotars. I'm glad I asked, and I'm glad he found the time (the shop was getting busy) to teach me thing that I have no other way of learning (there's a difference between watching a YouTube video and actually seeing behind your own car's tire). At the end of the day, Monro is a business. But this location, and Billy, prioritize customer relationships over straight profit.

Damon was excellent!! I brought my car in for my NYS inspection and he had it done super fast. He called me back to let me know my tires were practically bald, so I needed new ones. He gave me a few different options and I chose the ones that worked for me. He also let me know that the Cooper tires had a $100 off deal if I bought 4 tires, so it was nice to save some money there. He had to go to the warehouse to get the tires. I was kind of shocked he was able to get the new tires and have them put on all in a few hours. Highly recommend Damon at Monro on University!

Is he the manager of this location, if not, he should be. His customer service is exceptional. If I were still a boss somewhere I would scoop him up in a heartbeat. Pls recognize this good man!!

I’ve gotten oil changes and they recently repaired my tire, I always feel like I am getting a great value. The manager, Billy, is so nice and helpful, no one has ever been pushy or tried upselling me on stuff I don’t need, they are extremely thorough, reliable and timely. I’ll forever give them my business!
