Hi-Tech automotive always provides consistent auto repair service. Gary is professional, knowledgeable and never tries to upsell you on services/parts. Pricing is very fair and consistent. I strongly recommend this shop.

I've been bringing my cars to George and Gary for 30 years. Back in the day, they helped me keep my beater cars on the road. My class of car has slowly and steadily risen, but they've always been knowledgeable and honest. It's a popular and busy shop, so they rarely can help you if you're a walk-in, but I heartily recommend them.

Gary is the best! Saved me $2000+ on having to buy a new catalytic converter and was kind enough to squeeze me in the same day. Avoid going to a chain like Midas on Central that only care about margins and thought they could scam me into buying an entire new catalytic converter on Saturday. The vibes were way off (red flag #1 - guy told me he's from Brooklyn. People like me who grew up in the Bronx are sus of Brooklyn!) so I aggressively declined and told them I'd find an honest shop (like Hi-Tech) who would weld my flex joint instead and they told me it's illegal now due to the new NYS regulations about catalytic converters and good luck finding a shop that would do it, which I knew was BS. And I did find a great, honest shop 2 days later after the weekend was over and Gary did an amazing job really quickly! Thanks again! 12/10 would recommend! Sending this shop right now to my family that live in Albany.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Took my truck to Hi-Tech Automotive and had a great experience. The guys there were honest, knowledgeable, and didn’t try to upsell anything I didn’t need. They got me in quickly, explained the issue clearly, and had everything taken care of fast so I could get back on the road. Good mechanics are hard to find these days, but this shop is the real deal. Fair prices, solid work, and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Went in for an alignment and it was an absolute breeze. Came in for a scheduled appointment and got taken care of immediately. Was helped through the process, showed what was wrong and it got fixed, no hassle. Would recommend this place to anyone.
