The Muffler Shop

This shop has been my go-to for exhaust work ever since I moved to Rochester 8 years ago. Every vehicle I’ve owned has gone here, and they’ve always delivered solid results. Most recently, I had a BORLA ATAK exhaust installed, and the work was done just as reliably as always. Their rates have gone up a bit recently, but they’re still fair and may cut you a break when they can (no guarantees). What really stands out is their consistency. I’ve never had to bring a vehicle back for a redo. The location feels safe, they offer a convenient key drop, and they’re great about keeping you updated throughout the process. Overall, a dependable spot I keep coming back to.

I have always taken my car to Muffler shop in Fairport until a year ago when I leased a new 2025 car and started taking it to the dealership for basic (expensive) services. No more! Went Tuesday for inspection at Muffler Shop and it took 15min and they charged me $10. Said it was a courtesy!! ☺️

Going to my local dealership for a muffler repair would’ve meant they would’ve replaced my whole exhaust system and cost me $3,000. Going straight to the muffler shop for just the muffler repair only cost me $685, saving me $2400+! Quality work at a reasonable price! And friendly customer service!

The staff here was incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish.
