I can’t say enough good things about this place, and especially about John. Before calling Rytek, I called seven other repair shops. Every single one was either fully booked or wanted me to leave the car for an entire day. When I called Rytek, John asked what was wrong with the car. I explained that it was making a metal grinding noise. Even though they were fully booked, he told me he was concerned about me driving the car in that condition and asked me to bring it in so he could take a quick look and make sure it was safe to drive. About 15 minutes later, I brought the car to the shop. John immediately took it for a test drive and then lifted it up to inspect it. It turned out that another repair shop, where I had my front brakes replaced two weeks earlier, had not done the job correctly. The grinding noise was coming from the brakes. They fixed the issue for me, and I haven’t had any problems since. I truly appreciate how caring, honest, and professional John was throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care about their customers’ safety. Highly recommend Rytek. Bring your car to them.

Great counter service, intake process. Super friendly. Had a concerning sound in front-end and it turned out to be a loose bolt on the tie-rod that required some tightening. No charge, not even for the diagnostic time (which I said I would pay for...) because it was probably about 15 minutes.

I was looking to buy a Forester in the Rochester area, 1.5 hours from home. I needed a pre-purchase inspection and asked family and friends in the area who they would recommend. John got me in quickly and pointed out several important issues and estimated costs I was able to take back to the dealer to have addressed. Solid guy- take your car here!

Rytek’s been real good to me. Always quick to get me in. Incredibly cheap and reliable oil changes and inspections. Quick to offer loaners when in need. And always willing to go in depth on explaining what repairs are needed and why, which is something I’ve struggled to get at other auto shops. Grateful to have them around!

Had my sons carolla in at Rytek and was very happy with the service. Had a small concern with oil leak- turned out to be oil filter gasket. John was very helpful and super knowledgeable. Let me know to plan on swapping out tires in 2/32nds and didn’t hard sell me on any at that time. This is an A+ garage that I am lucky to have discovered as an out of town visitor. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comprehensive and fair car shop.
