Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Not customer-oriented. When I arrived, I requested that my oil be drained from the bottom rather than vacuumed out from the top. Regardless of which method is better, the staff seemed more interested in pushing their preference than listening to the customer. After I clearly stated that I wanted it drained, one employee spent several minutes explaining why vacuuming was “better”. I finally had to end the discussion by saying, “We’re draining it today.” From that point forward, the attitude I received was noticeably poor. At the end of the service, they are supposed to check your lights to ensure the headlights, high beams, turn signals, and other lights are working properly. The employee told me I was good to go, but I asked if we could check the lights before I left. He responded, “We have.” That was impossible, as I had never turned on my high beams or blinkers while I was there. I believe he realized how obvious that was because he then changed his story and said, “Oh, when you were pulling in, I checked most of them, but if you’d like, we can do it one more time if it’ll make you feel better.” He then added another sarcastic comment during the inspection. Everyone has bad days, but customer service is a major part of this job. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience.

Great service! I still had 1000 miles left in oil life and they were transparent with that. I still got my oil change because I know I would forget in the next month or so. Checked my rear brake light for free to make sure it was tightened. Very personable and friendly staff. Highly impressed! Thank you.

Came here after work to get an oil change and was very happy with the customer service. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name who served me, but he was very professional and noticed I had a break light out and replaced it on the spot for me. This location does a great job.

The two gentlemen working on my vehicle for the oil change did an excellent job. They also helped to change out some filters and replace two wipers that were not working well. Greatly appreciate the speed of service and discount from a coupon.
