Marty probably is one of the most professional, honest and fair professionals in the power and repair business. I had a broken portable Genrerac 7500E generator. I googled around and talked to many professional electricians. However, Marty gave me the best advices and price. So, I went to his shop and experienced an excellent service. I highly recommend Marty and his shop. I would give him 5 plus for his excellent service and professional attitude toward customers.

His knowledge is Second to none and surprisingly he has anything you may need for those emergency home repairs in his tiny hardware store out front but I believe what he really enjoys is the small engine and electric motor shop in the back I've heard he can resurrect equipment and for a reasonable price. Support local businesses and stop in you won't be disappointed

Marty picked up my snow thrower on a Tuesday, and returned it the same week, Saturday just in time for an incoming snowstorm. He will pick up your appliance if you live within a five (5) mile radius of his business. Highly recommend, and will use again .

This hardware store is the stuff of dreams. I guess because it’s actually a Magic Shop. Marty appears from nowhere. He reads your mind. He pulls your obscure request from his sleeve. You enter a Time Machine set to 1950, and he tells you the price. Meanwhile back at the garage, his doppelgänger reanimates the dead - the once loved toys: broken mowers, troubled engines, exhausted batteries, wounded autos. He brings them back to life; asks nothing in return. You will love this place.

This is and has been the go to place in Peekskill if you shiver thinking about home depot. I am a 20 year customer. They moved from main street, the place is smaller, but Marty is still has a wealth of helpful supplies and information. Most recently he helped me during a blackout with lanterns and batteries. 5 stars establishment. 5 star owner.
