Not being local, I was worried that I would get stuck with a hugh bill, but Craig and his team are great!!!! I would highly recommend him for his honesty, integrity, and price. Thanks for looking our for us.
View on GoogleI held back on writing this, I never want to knock a small business owner. So I will start with saying, Craig is a very nice gentleman.. I believe he genuinely is a nice person. With all of that being said, Craig worked on my brakes and replaced the calipers in late September. What was supposed to be a two hour job, turned into a few days, turned into a few weeks. I could tell when he first spoke with me after telling me I couldn’t drive the vehicle out of there that he was nervous and unsure of the job he could do, which he could have said flat out and I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere. 1600, and two weeks later, I got my vehicle back and the brakes seemed off still. Craig refunded me about 700, wouldn’t do further work to fix it, and now months later I am now dealing with this again. The caliper he worked on was not bolted on at all, so this could have killed my family and I at any point. The brakes went totally out while I was driving. I’ve had to miss days of work and pay for help with transportation endlessly. And the fact remains, he wasn’t sure of the work, he did it anyways, cost me weeks of time and has caused a bunch of hardship to both of my kids and I. And in my opinion, based on how this was handled, I should get a full refund. I have owned a business myself and his response was that he would be taking a total loss on the job if he did that, but, he could have also ended up in trouble for sending us off in an unsafe vehicle, and has caused a major loss to me in an extended fashion. He got two stars because he’s friendly and sincerely tried at first, however, his mechanic skills get a zero star. I would not suggest this shop to anyone. I also want to add that the price I’ve had to pay at this point for rides and visits to the mechanic far exceed the 1600 I paid him for wasting two weeks of my time. Craig, First off I’d like to say thank you for not replying or acknowledging your mistake. I really have been dealing with this caliper still, it’s not safe, it’s costing me way more than the partial refund you gave me. I really don’t want to take MORE time out of my life going to small claims where I will also have to bring into the mix the countless time, and Ubers I’ve had to take because of this. Like I said before, I used to own a business, we take losses when we do something wrong, I do not care if you come up with nothing from this job, I have lost well over the 1600 I paid you to absolutely destroy the electrical system on my vehicle. I have had to purchase, with this partial refund, all new parts and things you decided to leave OFF aka NOT purchase for the job that were crucial for it to be done correctly and safely. So you pocketed money that was supposed to go to parts you flat out LEFT OFF my brakes. I will 100% take this review down, if you give me the rest of what you owe, which is the rest of what I paid. So that I can take the money to put towards having this job done correctly and not pay for it a second time, while you “ don’t “ take a loss. If you DO NOT refund me the rest, this review will live here forever, with updates on how small claims court goes, which we both know how it will. And the fee will only increase, with whatever my filing fee is, Ubers I’ve had to pay for due to this specific problem, time I’ve lost at work. DO THE RIGHT THING. Give me my money back, so I can provide my family the safety they deserve and have someone fix what you’ve done, which by the way is SO MUCH more damage than my brakes were to start. I expect to hear from you TOMORROW. Or I will file first thing the following day. Thank you.
View on GoogleCraig is the absolute best! We’ve been taking our vehicles to him for years and have never been disappointed. He’s very accommodating, affordable and just a super nice guy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
