RCR AUTO REPAIR AND SALES

I recently moved our auto repairs--6 family vehicles--from another service shop to RCR Auto (formerly Brownie's) on a referral from a family member. RCR is excellent! I have been able to bring my cars in on a 1-day advance appointment and also on a tow-in/unscheduled appointment. Both service repairs were completed within 1 day. Further, John gave me detailed estimates on both service calls and the final bill was exactly as he quoted. Very happy to have found a new repair shop that I can trust and that provides quick turn-around service and customer care. Highly recommend RCR!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel like I should. They made me replace my NEW windshield wiper blades for no reason in order to pass inspection. Got my inspection today. Volkswagen 2018 atlas. They told me I needed to replace both windshield wiper blades in order to pass inspection, even though I know they were NEW and the best windshield wiper blades I ever had. They worked perfectly fine. This place just wanted to make some extra money off of me. They also charged 60 dollars for the wiper blades which is way overpriced. The customer service was nice. But I don't like getting scammed. I did not feel like arguing with them or going to another place for the inspection because i didnt have time, so I let them scam me and went on my merry way. Several months ago I tried bringing my old car for inspection and they told me I needed $1400 worth of repairs in order to pass inspection, so I took my car to another place and they passed the inspection with no repairs needed!

Took my car in for a minor coolant leak and they sent me home without fixing the problem twice. It was actually worse. They tried to gaslight me about the problem telling me it was perfectly fine multiple times. They finally got it right on the third time, but then the car was misfiring violently and broke down when I got it back. They said I'd need new spark plugs wires and coils. Got it towed to another shop and low and behold there was a vacuum hose disconnected, now it runs fine. Paid 1800 dollars for a headache. They seemed shady and dishonest and wouldn't take my concerns seriously. Just be careful with this place.

I own a 2019 Honda CRV & took it in for an inspection today. I just bought brand new tires, checked fluids, checked brakes & everything for it to pass. They told me for my vehicle to pass inspection i would need a new driver side windshield wiper because it was torn. It absolutely was not torn. $20 + inspection fees it passed. I will never bring my vehicle to this place again. What a silly reason to pass a pretty much brand new vehicle. I could have told them to take my vehicle off the lift & pay inspection fee then bought a $6 windshield wiper, but they got me.

My jeep popped up 3 service lights, abs,4wheel drive and traction control. Took it to RCR auto for repairs , the repair went smoothly without any problems . They were really fast with the repair , and I got my truck back the same day. If your having problems with your vehicle I highly recommend RCR Automotive they can handle your automotive needs.
