If I could give a zero to this hack of a shop I would. I hope I warn people off from going here and clearly the only people going here are ones who don't know anything about vehicles. I've had to work a few cars who were "built" by this shop and it's some of the worst work I've seen. From electrical either being just twisted together and taped, to solder and then taped with zero shrink tube. Open 12v wires just cut and still live on the frame. Boosted cars with fpr not hooked up to a vacuum source, hose clamps for IC couplers. I won't even get into his horrendous tuning ability. Using different spark plugs and not even the correct heat range, different spark plug wires, used relay that has seen water damage just dangling off the battery post. The worst one out of it all was the fuel line laying on the power steering belt, it was rubbing through!!! I can go on and on about this hack. Wires just electrical taped on the ecu laying on floorboard. I mean this dude either doesn't know what he is doing at all or just doing things wayyy above his actual knowledge and stealing money from these customers. Oh and the paint job, were you blind? Too lazy to even remove foam insulation and rubber caps that have now cracked and look awful. To think these customers spent 10s of thousands and this is the shotty work given back is a disgrace. Edited to show the top notch welding. Should be refunding money for this horrendous job.

Hack job of a job. Used junk Chinese Max Speeding rods in the car. Also jacked up the engine on the oil pan causing it to dent which made the pick up not be able to function properly and suck up enough oil therefore causing the rod bearings go not receive enough oil which obviously made the rod bearings go bad. Car was a 3000GT VR4
View on GoogleBest repair shop I have ever been too I took my Honda fit there and they were great. Great people as well. Harry Mueller
View on GoogleI have never taken the time to write an online review, for anything. After the excellent customer service I received at Birdie's, I felt compelled to do so (unsolicited). The owner clearly takes great pride in his work/shop/reputation and the customer service here is top notch. I brought my 2013 Chevy Equinox in for a tune-up and oil change and it drives like a brand new vehicle. I really appreciate the care that they show to their customers and the fact that they won't try to sell you things that you don't need, like other shops. Keep up the great work!
View on GoogleI painted my 71 super beetle with custom shop lacquer paint. It takes a very long time to cure. I didn’t have time to put the windows back in the car, so I took it to Brett and told him be careful with the paint. Don’t put any covers on the car. I already had to repaint the hood simply because I had it outside and a leaf fell on the hood and it stained a mark into the hood this paint. It’s that sensitive if you don’t want to take this on, just tell me now and that’s not a big deal. He says no problem we can get this done. I also instructed him make sure that it’s kept indoors ,obviously because it has no windows and it’s an antique car. He says of course no problem. A month goes by. I don’t hear anything, it’s October been cold and raining the whole time, LEAFS FALLING !. I drive past the shop and my car is just sitting outside in the pouring rain with no windows in it still. I call him and say come on why is this like this? Get it inside. He says OK. I drive past a week later and there’s just a plastic cover on it outside. I called back again and then he finally put it indoors. Fast-forward about five months I hear nothing from him every time I message him he just says he’s working on it, after him having the car for about six or seven months I call him and just say can I please get the car back? he says OK come get it. I go to pick up the car and when I get there they’re getting into their cars like they’re trying to leave and they just give me the key and say oh sorry we couldn’t get this done. Have a nice day for the inconvenience we put a new battery in your car. ( when I got home I looked at the sticker and it was 2 years old already.)so thanks for the used battery, I’m supposed to be happy about that apparently. There were many damaged areas in the paint due to his neglect and disrespect after agreeing to be careful with it. Here are some pics of the damage. When I confront him about it he just says there must be a misunderstanding. Takes zero responsibility for it. And then Christine starts calling my phone at 12:30 -1 am. I’m really not interested in the free oil change and free inspection you’ll offer for ruining a paint job. Long story short , I had to spend a whole Nother 10 months or so disassembling the car repainting it re-clearing it and getting it back to how it was before I gave it to Brett. It cost me so much money and time I can’t even begin to say, and of course, the worst part about this is, after all that it was 10 months later , and there I am putting in the windows and putting the doors back together myself anyways. Which was the original reason I brought the car to him in the first place. It was an awful experience, and the worst part is they really don’t care. If you’re having a problem with your vehicle, I would advise. Just take a minute, slow down and figure out how to do it on your own because Brett isn’t going to do anything too complex anyways he’s just a basic mechanic trying to play it like he’s some kind of big time professional. If it can’t be found on a YouTube video, he can’t do it anyway so you might as well do it yourself. And remember no one will care about your stuff as much as you will so keep your stuff away from mechanics that have no regard or respect for others peoples property.
