BELIEVE THE LOW RATING AND REVIEWS. My son took his car in for a simple alignment after noting minor abnormal tire wear only one tire while working on his brakes. He left with new squeaking sounds and the steering wheel decidedly cockeyed. When he went back he needed to make another appointment. Once there he got to hear another customer dealing with the exact same issue after his alignment. Once getting his car back he noted grease and oil stains on the floor mats and interior door he had just cleaned. The worker at the desk could only say that this is a normal problem with that mechanic. What?!?! After leaving he then noted the new grease stained scratch on the back of the car. Now I am furious I had not looked at the abysmal reviews and rating for this location before sending him for a simple alignment. He is addressing this with corporate but I doubt anything will be done. They see an 18 year old kid with a 20 year old car and couldn’t care less. He works full time though and is paying his own way. This treatment is unacceptable. It still squeaks as is had not before the alignment. I have revised up to three stars after the manager reached out and offerred to address the issues. Bad days happen so we will see how things work in the future.

Dave Mo and Ricky is a great guy friendly and always helping people in the neighborhood, always the best price , really nice waiting room smells like coffee and free coffee for everyone, everyone who works here is friendly and smiling. Outstanding team. Beats no one in class and very creditable. Honest and up front never looking to break your wallet.
View on GoogleWell I went for a new battery… they changed the battery.. I was driving the next day on the road and made a turn.. the car went dead. I opened the hood and noticed that the battery strap was not there. One of the contacts for the battery was so loose. You can see that the screw bolt was tightened between the contacts that kept the contacts loose. How can someone miss that!!!! Stuck on the road for an hour because I didn’t have tools.
View on GoogleIf I could leave negative starts I would My vehicle is a fleet vehicle I made my appt for 1 pm initially yesterday- my early afternoon appt cancelled so I change my appt and was able to bring it in at 11 Great Needed an oil change and inspection (I knew based on prior pep boys along with the inspection I was probably going to need brakes - last year was tires - year before brakes - etc) Oddly I got a text at 12:05 pm and my inspection report was there - but no tech assigned Wow - i can see passed - no light on… and I didn’t see brakes - WOW- I did see a picture of the brakes though At 4 I called and they said it would be ready around 7 I got a call at 5:14 that it was ready and I went to retrieve my vehicle When i got there - the bill was $1700 I was shocked because all it went in for was oil change and an inspection and no one mentioned a word on anything else - I go to pull out of the parking lot - the car was bucking and the engine light was flashing - I called and drove it right back- they drove it into the back and came out a half hour later and said it was a loose bolt ? I went to leave again and didn’t even get passed the front of the store and the issue is still happening . They brought it back into the back- after about an hour the front desk kid- I asked him what was going on- he said well we put in bad spark plugs ? What why are you changing spark plugs for an oil change - he said I don’t know- he said you asked for an engine diagnosis and the engine light was on- I said no - there was no lights on at all- until after I went to pick it up. They said it would take a few minutes to get good spark plugs -they didn’t have them in the store and had to order them from a different store ps it was not finished yesterday In the meantime I called my fleet company who told me that they were told I said that the car was misfiring and the engine light was on- which is a blatant lie- first of all how the heck would I know they car was misfiring ? And honestly it’s a fleet car- the car is well maintained and taken care of by my company . Plus - I was back at my house at 11:14 pm(based on the uber logs) and according to the report from the communication thread attached with my receipt I complained about the problems or it was sent for approval at 1- which is an hour after I received the text with the diagnosis that no lights were on and I believe they were looking at brakes but it passed inspection … I don’t know what kind of scam you ( or your employees) are running over there - but my company and the fleet company are aware of the situation - of performing services that were not remotely necessary - fabricating ‘driver complaints’ .I did not ask for any other services other than oil change and inspection. I didn’t even get a new message that my car was brought back in last night - because they totally screwed up a car that had no issues other than needing an oil change and inspection . I picked it up today and was told it was a clogged air filter ?!! What? I said what happened with the bad spark plugs from last night- the kid at the desk said idk he just heard it was a clogged air filter - and it was extensively test driven this morning (there’s no miles other than the 1 I put on trying to drive out of the lot twice ). I don’t know if this is what you do to fleet customers or all your customers - but I can assure you - I will tell my story to everyone - and I personally will never step foot in any pep boys again- Oh And I was refused a receipt today for the additional repairs that were supposedly done
View on GoogleI'm telling you.This is the best pet boys around.Everyone is always so friendly.They do a great job fast service.Best people to deal with.I love them.I will only take my stuff to them.I trust them fully really good people working there.My hat's off to you guys. Thank you for caring about what you do ..... Okay. So now I'm on here editing this review. I gotta tell you. I had a slight little hiccup with the service. I got done a little issue. Could have happened to anybody dave?It is absolutely amazing as an employee.Pet boy should be proud to have him. I literally I had a small issue dave hopped right on it and asked me to bring it in tonight. I mean, I don't think they would have enough time to fix it. So I'm gonna do it tomorrow, but I didn't think I'd be able to get my coffee fixed for a while. Dave is amazing. You should only ever use this pet boy's. I've had nothing but good experience with them. Stereo a standup company and dave is a shining example of what every employee should strive to be. Thank you, dave, I'd say you are the man, but that's really not enough. Thank you!!
