I recently went to Gene’s Auto in Patchogue for a wheel alignment, and I have to say, they absolutely nailed it. The alignment is spot-on, and my car drives perfectly. Their customer service is also top-notch—every person I dealt with was knowledgeable and confident. It’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing. To top it off, they gave me a free inspection, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed!

The mechanics are known for their honesty and care and I was not disappointed, several advised me for a routine diagnostic. Besides the full computer report covering my car top to bottom, they went one by one the areas of most concern and gave me direct and honest pricing and a plan that suited my particular vehicle. I brought my 2010 Nissan in for an NYS inspection, wheel alignment, and an oil change, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I worked with John, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding. Before doing any work, they sent me a detailed report (with photos) via text, which made everything super transparent. John walked me through all the findings, and we discussed what needed to be done now versus what could wait, based on my budget. He and his team were extremely accommodating and helped me create a plan to get everything taken care of over time without feeling overwhelmed. They even sent a mobile invoice so I could pay easily and pick up my car after hours, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, this was genuinely the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. Gene’s is always reliable and they have appointments that work with my schedule. They have the ability to schedule your appointments online which is easy to use. For inspections, you get a detailed report of their findings and recommendations for your vehicle. They do not pressure you to do services on your vehicle which is relieving. The staff is super nice and they keep you updated throughout the time your car is in their care. I would highly recommend Gene’s to anyone
