Hatchet Hardware

Called ahead previous day to reserve an item. Left name and number with employee on the phone and said I would be in after work the following day (Business closed same time as my job and opened same time next day). After arriving the following day I was informed that it was already sold to someone else even though my name was on it. No attempt to rectify situation, no call ahead to inform me they werent going to hold the item, just a "Sorry bro" from the condescending employee behind the counter. Heard bad reviews but decided to give them a chance, clearly a mistake. Completely unprofessional and unserious business. There are many better hardware stores in the area, spend your money elsewhere.

Super clean and nice with helpful staff. It's great to have a local hardware store close to home. Definitely worth stopping by. Also they're pup friendly if you're running errands with your fuzzy companion.

Easy in and out for ice melt, which was conveniently situated right near the entrance. Store associate was friendly and overall experience was great.

Called to confirm an item was in stock (employee said there were several), drove 40 mins to the store to retrieve said item and when I arrived the women working the front desk said they were sold out. They’re either incompetent or untrustworthy, you take your pick.

Hatchet Hardware is great to have in the neighborhood. So many independent hardware stores have gone out of business, and many items are not available in the big box stores.
