Backwoods Mobile Repair - Mobile Mechanic Service

TLDR: Trust this guy 100%, from a stranded European niche brand driver. Very reasonable price too. My experience only applies for regular passenger vehicle service, don’t know much about commercial rigs so can’t comment. FULL STORY: I gave him a call this morning before open(to my surprise he picked up) for an emergency roadside service to release my stuck parking brake, and he got me back on the road by lunch time. This is with him having other stuff to work on before me. If you’re stranded on the side of the road due to some stupid electrical or non-major mechanical failure, or you rather not have to deal with dropping car off at the shop, Dave is the go to. Dude is highly communicative, professional and ACTUALLY COMES ON TIME. This is not your typical mentally challenged DollarLube mech that would use the wrong oil despite you telling them the exact config; he knows what he’s doing and tells you why he’s doing them, the peace of mind is simply unmatched by other providers, even when it comes to niche brands. I’d say any repair that could feasibility be done by roadside or mobile service(that is, NOT an engine rebuild on your driveway) you should go with him.

His son david was contracted to do some repairs on my vehicle. After he completed the service to my car I took the vehicle for a test drive for a short duration. After traveling approx. 100 feet at a low rate of speed the front driver’s side wheel proceeded to forcefully eject from the hub at a high rate of speed traveling a long distance before hitting a house. Causing extensive damage to both my car and the house in which the wheel collided into. His son david is a nice guy but a terrible mechanic. Do not get repairs done to your automobile by this guy.

I am a truck driver, a snowstorm came in, I figured pull in the TA so I can wait it out as I get out of the truck. I have a flat tire. I must’ve picked up something in their lot. The manager over here refused to bring the truck around so they can work on the truck because the tire fell off and I wasn’t gonna drive on the rim and they refuse to help so I started calling some numbers. Dave is the only guy that came through and he got right to it. As I’m writing, this review, he’s replacing the rim and the tire on a steer . He’s an amazing young man and thank God for him because it’s snowing outside, raining, only God knows what’s happening to this weather but he’s out here-working on this semi to get me back on the road so thank God for him.

Dave is great! He’s super responsive, knowledgeable and honest. Went out of his way when working on my vehicle. I highly recommend him.
