I am submitting a complaint regarding an experience I had at Wrench Automotive Inc. an auto repair shop located on 116-60 Sutphin Blvd. Jamaica NY 11434 on May 16th 2026. I visited this shop for an oil change and engine flush service. During the service, I observed the technician retrieve an oil container after going into a back room rather than opening a clearly sealed container in front of me. As a result, I was unable to verify that the oil used matched the product advertised (Mobil 1 synthetic), which was the basis for the service I was paying for. At the time of payment, I encountered additional charges that were not disclosed in advance. In addition to sales tax, a separate charge labeled as a “Square fee” (4%) was added to the total for using a card. This fee was not clearly communicated prior to payment. When I asked about the additional charge, I was informed that I could avoid the fee by using an ATM machine inside the store and paying in cash. The ATM itself had a service fee. This created confusion and placed pressure on me to change my payment method after the service had already been completed.This is the fraud! My concerns are as follows: Lack of transparency regarding the oil product used during service Additional fees applied at checkout that were not disclosed beforehand Payment practices that may be unclear or potentially misleading to customers I am requesting that NYC Department of Consumer & Worker Protection (DCWP) or the NYS Attorney General office review this business’s practices to ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection and pricing transparency regulations.

Went to get an oil change specifically, dude gone lift my car up and tell me I need a new tie rod as well, told him I’ll do it at a later time, cool oil change done, come back a few weeks later for an inspection, same dude there, takes the money lifts the car up again tells me same issue and fails the inspection. For what it’s worth been to several mechanics, owned several cars and never had an issue, let alone never had a mechanic lift my car for an inspection. Took my car went down a few blocks got my inspection done without an issue same day, and the same issue dude quoted me for got it done at half the price almost a week after the inspection was done. Dude with the mustache not worth it, he def scamming the way he moving.

Good service my car engine light was on for timing belt they fix it and did my nys inspection highly recommend any other issue I will definitely return back thanks guys

Muhammed is very bad person he called to fix his fridge in the store I did the service and he refuse to pay it is shame how people give hime good review while is devil may Allah give cancer or problem in his health or destroy his family I will make prayer ever morning inshalah he get it

I had a bad experience here getting my brakes done. The car was braking weird and the mechanic did not respond adequately then a few months later, the while ABS system failed and I am now stuck with thousands of dollars of additional repair cost.
