Honest independent service center. Joe and his crew are professional mechanics that give a personal touch as well as excellent service. My 20+ year old car is kept running safely thanks to them and my 2020 Honda Pilot gets all factory recommended service that will ensure it lasts many more years as well.
View on GoogleI can’t recommend Joe at West Shore Tire enough! I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe in thinking I might actually lose my car, and from the start, Joe put me at ease. His honesty, integrity, and genuine care for his work immediately stood out. He explained everything clearly, didn’t try to sell me anything unnecessary, and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my car. After he worked on it, my Santa Fe ran perfectly. I even drove it all the way to Pennsylvania this past weekend, and it handled like a brand-new car — smooth, reliable, and worry-free. Coming back for my inspection this morning, Joe was genuinely happy and excited to hear that it drove so well. You could tell he truly loves his job and takes pride in the work he does. That level of care and enthusiasm is so rare, and it really makes a difference. Joe isn’t just a mechanic — he’s someone who reassures you, treats you honestly, and genuinely wants the best for your car and for you. He made a stressful situation feel manageable and left me feeling confident in my vehicle again. His professionalism, skill, and passion are unmatched, and I truly believe he is the most honest and skilled mechanic on Staten Island. I feel so lucky to have found Joe. He went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything he did. If you want a mechanic you can completely trust, who cares about the person as much as the car, Joe is absolutely the one to see.
View on GoogleHad a flat tire they didn't fix the flat and miss putting a lug nut to hold spare tire. Told me $40 cash wouldn't charge sales tax. Now I have no receipt for no work done
View on GoogleIt’s SO important to be able to trust your mechanic to be honest, give you a fair price and do reliable repairs. Joe at West Shore Tires is that man! I have been a customer for 25 years and 5 cars. I now travel from Grasmere to Rossville because I moved 8 years ago and I have no interest in finding a mechanic closer to me when I already have the best one in the Island!
