V J's Car Care

I had a great experience with VJ’s Car Care. My 1992 Toyota Corolla’s timing belt broke while I was getting off the highway, and I had the car towed straight to them. They replaced the timing belt, water pump, and accessory belts, and even welded my exhaust to fix a leak. They got everything done in just 2 days and at a very affordable price. The team was honest, straightforward, and truly trustworthy. I highly recommend VJ’s Car Care to anyone looking for reliable and fair auto service

The owner was extremely rude as soon as I arrived. One of the workers told me to pull into the shop where the cars go in, but when I did, the owner started yelling at me repeatedly, insisting he never said that and that his employee “knows better then to say that.” Calling me a liar!! I had even confirmed with the mechanic twice before pulling in. As a female customer, I was simply trying to get my inspection done, yet instead of helping, he rudely asked me, “What do you want!!?” right after yelling at me about pulling in. This man shouldnt have a business if he's thinks he can be so rude n nasty with costumers!!!

I took my car in for inspection on 8/29/25. Vj said I needed new brakes and one tire replaced. I fixed the tire and brought it back to him for the brakes and inspection on the same afternoon. He charged me 792.00 for replacing all four brakes and rotors and the rein-spection. This is after I paid 560.00 in cash as an option for him not to charge the full total of 861.00 for using my Credit Card. What a rip off. I offered to buy all the pads from Arch for 74.00. He said don’t worry he’ll get them. eBay has the entire pad and rotor set for 173.00 with free shipping. All the while he had this sinister plan to overcharge me. He had remarked on my previous visit that I only go there for inspection and not mechanical work. Btw, this is a 2018 ford eco sport we’re talking about, not a luxury vehicle.

I cannot put in words how extremely impressive this place is! The owner VJ is a true gentleman and an exceptional professional. He really cares! He saved my life once! I went in for an issue and unrelated, he checked my brakes. The brake line was barely hanging on by a thread! Even though I couldn't afford the work. He would not allow me to leave in that condition. He fixed the brakes and allowed me to leave. Never asked me to repay...I later did pay. I don't take my cars anywhere else and I highly recommend this place. If you want an honest deal that won't kill your pockets, call VJ. You will not regret your decision! He calls me King Arthur! Love and respect this man! You will too!

VJ is the best. I go to his shop because I always leave more than confident that the work has been done correctly. He is reasonably priced and does not push work that is not necessary. Definitely my favorite mechanic shop!
