I had a very concerning experience at this shop. They failed my inspection and claimed my rotors were “too rusted,” which didn’t make sense. The rotors are only about 2–3 years old and show normal surface rust at most—nothing that affects braking or safety. I drive the car daily with no braking issues. What stood out even more was that they focused on one rotor with slightly more discoloration while the other three looked nearly new. That felt selective and misleading. The manager also claimed my tires were from 2016, which is completely inaccurate. My car is a 2017 model, and I replaced all four tires brand new about two years ago. I went to another inspection station immediately after, and the car passed without any issues. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend never getting any type of car service done from here. These guys are total scammers! They also own a gas station so I wouldn’t trust that either.

I went for an inspection of a 2003 Honda accord that I bought for 2 grand. The last owner told me the brakes are good. I even drove the car for 9 days and they were actually fine until I took it to this workshop and they failed me on the safety part of the inspection. They told me that my brakes and rotors are not good by looking through steelies. Then they charged me 500 dollars for replacing them. The ones they replaced are horrible brakes. The older ones were way more better. It’s been hardly 2 months and the brakes they replaced are already done. Total Scammers. AVOID!

SCAM. Sold me a $500 plus alternator (left) when in reality, they just painted the old one and called it “new” For reference, a new one is the one on the right. This shop(especially the owner) does not care if you want your family safe in the car. They will SCAM you and charge you EXTRA and put you and your families lives in DANGER. When I went back to confront them and do business, they denied everything. It was clear that their objective is to get your money and call it a day. This shop is a complete SCAM

Not good business practise. The mechanics are knowable but have some kind of scheme going on. Charges you extra to buy and install new parts saying without that item your car won’t be fixed. Even when I first came they didn’t mention that and said that my problem will be fixed with the parts I had already bought. DISHONEST

Had a great experience at Auto Repair NYC Inc.! Brought my car in for an oil change, alignment, and inspection. The guys were super helpful, explained everything clearly, and got the work done quickly. Prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the work was excellent. I left very satisfied and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
