Tony's Auto Repair

This is what an auto shop should be like. Tony and his staff are great. I've been fortunate to not need any major repairs, but he's helped me several times for inspections and flat repairs. It's always fast, fair, and easy. It's great to have a local shop like this in town, owned by someone who's had the shop for decades and survived the transformation this neighborhood has gone through.

I started going to TONY'S AUTO this year 2024. I've visited for 2 oil changes, state inspection, and brake repair. They've done an excellent job and highly recommend them. Great communication all around, very fair pricing, efficient service, and you can call and get an actual person to speak with. This is my go-to place whenever I am in the city and need a repair.

Came into NY for a couple days with my daughter and while driving my skid plate got mangled and was scraping on the ground. I showed up at Tony’s the day we were leaving and Freddy had it fixed on the spot for a very generous price! Thank you for taking care of us so quickly and being so kind to us out-of-towners!

How great is Tony's? We've been taking our cars there since back in the day, when Tony was still alive, and NEVER had a bad experience. The other day, a friend from upstate called to say that his Subaru had broken down in Manhattan. I suggested he get it towed to Tony's, where it was dropped off around midnight. The next morning, when I stopped by to check in with Dominic, he already had a mechanic working on the car, which had lost a lot of transmission fluid––never a good sign. My friend just texted me that he's back upstate, his car is running great, and he couldn't be happier. Thanks, Dominic, for making me a hero with our friend.

I’ve been taking my car here for the past 4 years to get inspection and oil changes. Always great service, Tony is cool, super efficient and gives good prices.
