Three Radiator Inc

***Avoid this place*** Incompetent mechanics work there*** I had my radiator changed at this shop and realized shortly after my engine was overheating and transmission slipping. I had to stop the car after a mile to inspect. Popped off the rad cap and noticed low coolant level. It was obvious the mechanic didn't bleed the air out of the cooling system (a critical step when replacing a radiator). Secondly, my car has a transmission oil cooler line attached to the radiator that when removed, needs to be capped off to prevent oil loss. The mechanic didn't do that and worse, didn't refill the missing trans oil. I'm lucky I caught it early and fixed it. The shop's shoddy work could've destroyed my engine/transmission.

I went there on Saturday 6/15 to get my AC checked out on my 2010 Nissan Altima. An employee named “Panama” is the one that began to check the car. After using the diagnostic reader he tells me that the compressor , sensors and fuse are all fine and that the problem has to do with an electrical issue. He said it would cost $250 to fix the problem. He said the work would take about an hour so I left the shop to return later. Now, 30 minutes later he calls me and says the car is done. I go to pick the car up and he didn’t show what the electrical problem was about but the ac was kicking out cold air so I paid him and left. Not even 3 hours later the cold air stopped working. So Monday morning 6/17 I take the car back to him and after about 20 min of him re-checking the car now he says that the ac compressor is shot. Then he began taking apart the compressor without my permission. Lastly he showed me what he supposedly fixed - electric wise when I had went there initially on Saturday.I left the shop then took the car to another mechanic who after inspecting the car said that there was no electrical issue and that the compressor was the problem the whole time. In other words “Mr. Panama” ripped me off. I’m am not implying that you shouldn’t take your car there for mechanic work but as for the ac - electrician “Panama” I wouldn’t trust. Oh and I’m also calling the BBI to inform them that they need to investigate this place to make sure these AC guys are certified electricians.

Yorky is the best, he always works fast and does a great job. Took my truck to change the brakes and he even gives you back the old ones just so you can see for yourself the condition they were in. Worth the money!
