so lucky to have Roland in NYC, he is a sweet and honest guy and an absolute encyclopedia of Saab. he can take one look at the problem, diagnose it, source the parts, and have it fixed quickly. maybe its not the cheapest shop in the world but for the specialized expertise, its 100% worth it. thanks for everything Roland

No idea how this guy Roland can call himself a technician or an honest business. He has no idea how to diagnose a car and he charges for HIS learning experience at the customers expense. I am just flabbergasted at the fact that shops like this are still operating and taking advantage of customers. If you value your money, time and your vehicle - go somewhere else. Roland may mean well - but his inabilities are not worth your headaches and financial turmoil. Anyone who has gotten out of his shop "repaired" is lucky I guess. Sometimes you need to just stay being a backyard mechanic and let the professionals service the customers.

Roland has a PhD in Saab. My 9-3 has never been in better hands!

What a find! I brought my 1994 900 Turbo convertible to Roland for a syncro issue. The work was done at the estimated time and cost. He also tweaked some of the model’s quirks—the confused HVAC distribution switch and uncooperative turn signal arm. I highly recommend the Swedish Underground. As long as I have the car, Roland has a customer. He’s a great guy to boot!

Roland give me a quote of $450 to change the crank position sensor on a Saab 9-5. He must be out of his freaking mind or plain greedy. I shopped artound and got it replaced for only $80 at a shop on Staten Island. Roland.Rave all you want about this roland mechanic.Shop around you'll find he is overrated and way over priced.
