Simon Transmission & General Mechanic is hands down one of the best shops I’ve ever been to. From start to finish, the service was professional, honest, and top-notch. They took the time to explain the issues clearly, offered fair pricing, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and my vehicle has been running perfectly ever since. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in the work they do. I had the best experience here. Everyone is very welcoming and nice. I brought my car here and I love that they kept me updated with the process and didn’t leave me blind sided about what was going on with my vehicle. Spent a total of $6,000 on the transmission and had it fixed 3 times back to back by this place. and they kept blaming me. they were paid to do other general mechanic work and maintenance work, but never completed it. i originally thought they were competent people and honest people but i see that this isnt necessarily the case.

Simon transmission is my go to mechanic. Over the years they have fixed my engine, brakes, and give me regular tune ups. They are highly efficient and always helpful.

I will take my car elsewhere! I set up an appointment with these people a week ago to get my transmission rebuild! There Tow truck guy set up an appointment with me yesterday and said he will come pick up my ford Expedition today at 10 this morning, 10 o’clock went by! Nothing! Then he told my daughter’s father that he will come at 11 because he was picking up some other car! 11oclock went by and not even a call back! So I called the shop and told the receptionist if she can call their tow truck guy because my car was scheduled to get picked up today! She claimed she was going to call him and called me back! Never received a call from the receptionist nor their tow truck guy!!! Unprofessional service they provided! I will take my business to NY Transmission and get my service there with Freddie.
