Shlomo Friedman Repair Shop

I’ve been using Shlomo Friedman Repair Shop in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn for many years now, mostly for vehicle inspections, and I’ve always had a great experience. The inspection service is extremely fast and efficient—usually in and out in about 10–15 minutes. Very reliable, no delays, and the process is always smooth. They also handle inspections for my diesel commercial box truck, which is a big plus for me since not every shop can handle that kind of work quickly and properly. The people there are very nice and easy to deal with, and the overall service feels honest and straightforward. A couple of years ago, my catalytic converter was stolen right off my personal vehicle—this is Brooklyn, unfortunately. I was only a few blocks away, so I drove straight to his shop. He immediately ordered the replacement part and had everything fixed within 48 hours. Perfect job, no issues afterward. Overall, very fast, reliable service and a shop I trust.

Service, speed, quality – truly surpassed my expectations. There are a ton of auto body shops in the area and not only did they give me the best price, but they turned it around in less than 24 hours. The before/after says it all. I could tell they also fixed my dented hubcap, and finished the entire bumper... above and beyond what I asked. Thanks to Mair and the talented mechanics for all your work.

Went to a bunch of shops trying to get an inspection done and wasn’t able to get accommodated. I stopped here just to try and was taken right away. I believe I was helped by the owner and he was so kind and fast, I didn’t have any problems at all. I was in and out in 10 minutes plus the price was reasonable. He even offered to text me a reminder next year to come back for the same service. 10/10 definitely recommend.

One of the worst places, no heat customer has to stand. All they do is brakes and oil change.

Came to NYC for a one night trip and had unexpected car troubles that could not be fixed on a weekend. We had to stay until Monday and called this auto shop right when they opened. We had to get the radiator replaced and could not stay another night. The auto shop owner and the mechanic Marlo stayed 3 hours past closing time to accommodate us and were able to solve our issues within one day. Can not stress how grateful and thankful we are for this place, truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts. We highly recommend this place as they went above and beyond terms of price and service.
