Great set of guys work at this shop. I came in to install an aftermarket clutch kit for my 10th gen civic si. They had the job done fast and I'm very happy with the results. They are very knowledgeable about Hondas and other JDM platforms. I will definitely be back here for future mods and maintenance items for my car.

⚠️WARNING!!! ⚠️ At first, everyone at RPM NYC appeared nice and pleasant, like people you could trust with your car. But after what happened to me, I can state that everything about this location seems incredibly strange. I went in to get my suspension checked and get a simple alignment. They told me I needed to replace my sway bar links, outer tie rods, and ball joints after the alignment. I heard a strange clanking noise right after I left, and the person who test-drove my car heard it too, but they said it was simply the "parts that needed changing." The next day, while I was driving, my inner tie rod entirely came out, and I could have easily been hurt or even killed or worse hurt or kill someone else. My car lost control of the steering right away, which was scary and may have led to a bad accident. To make matters worse, I spent $150 on their servicing and then had to pay to have my car towed to another repair once it broke down. Instead of improving anything, it seems that the work they did made things worse. I took my car to two different mechanics , and both said that the items RPM advised me to replace were in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. They also saw a tear in the inner tie rod boot (see picture) that appeared quite strange, almost like a cut from a razor. When I called RPM about this, they didn't seem to care much showing very little empathy and just told me to bring it back for a "further investigation." How could they suggest or notice the need for extra parts (not even OEM) instead of an inner tie rod that was about to fail? These people might seem nice, but be very careful, especially if you're young or look like you don't know what you're doing. I gave trust and hard earned money and I heavily regret doing both those things.They put my life and the lives of others in jeopardy, cost me money, and gave me more issues than I had before. I would NEVER tell anyone to use RPM NYC.

You want work done well? come here! These guys are real experts and take their time explaining what’s happening, why, and how they’re going to fix it. They put real love into their work. Amazing service and a friendly team. I’ve been coming here for 5 years; for a simple oil changes to complicated engine work. I’ll never go anywhere else for any car needs! You shouldn’t either.

By FAR THE WORST SERVICE IVE RECEIVED FROM ANY Establishment. They over charged me for all the work. Originally quoted me one price then after the work was complete came up with a bunch of excuses on why it’s more. Then did a horrible job on top of that and promised me he fix them. I stopped by the shop 2-3 times was told many different excuses on each visit. I recently took a road trip once I returned I was going to pay them a visit and ask for updates and a deadline on when things will be completed.During my road my trip the the side fender that they replaced started to come loose and flap during my road trip.
