Reliable Auto Repair

Very disappointed I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and never received a price to repair it. I had called back during the week and then I got on Monday morning but couldn’t get through to anybody as a result. I went down there on Monday afternoon and it took them 10 minutes to find my paperwork then after I paid, apparently the guy that had the keys for the car that was blocking me and wasn’t around so I had to wait a half an hour for this guy to return. The tire seems fine so I guess they did a good job. I should also know that the place has no discernible counter. You have to walk past a bunch of desks in an extremely dirty office where someone writes down your name and phone number and that’s it. It was not a pleasant experience. They do have a sister shop down the road with something that begins at 631 but it was so busy and there’s only one way to get in that there was absolutely no place to park less than two blocks from that place, which is the reason I came here. But sane owner probably means same service.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE ! Don’t waste your time this man is a con artist . Here’s what happened . I came to this auto shop because he is a customer of my father, upon getting there he gives me an invoice for $1600 and tells he need to get an $800 deposit for the parts then I would pay the 800 balance once the repair is complete, I do as he asks three days later he calls me requesting another $600 saying that he did not realize he was going to need extra part which cost $400 and an extra $200 for labor... I am new to cars and I still know there something wrong with that, as a mechanic you should look at the car provide an estimate and see what you need and then provide me with the invoice which I can then agreed or disagree to. Not call back days later and try to change my invoice and add more money . I am a 22 year old female & I already see this guy is tryna rip me off . So as day goes on he changes my fix date about three time so at this point I’m without a car for about two weeks . I call him on the day it should be done and he pushes the date again . Not once has he called me to let me know the progress of the car , only to ask about money . I then proceeded to ask him for the Receipt for all parts purchased because the initial 800$ I gave him was to buy parts and then he call asking for more money for parts , it raises concern that he’s trying to profit from parts and labor . He begins sputtering and stuttering about me coming to look and take pictures when I ask him for my parts receipt. I just want honest business . & if you want honesty as well please stay far away from this auto shop . Your money & your time will be completed wasted .

The mechanic there is good at what he does, they just charge an arm and a leg.
