If I could give this business zero stars, I would. My vehicle was stolen and later recovered by the NYPD. Unfortunately, it was initially towed by Quality Automotive Towing, which is affiliated with Alfaro Motor. Without my knowledge or authorization, my vehicle was transferred from the towing company to Alfaro Motor, resulting in an additional $1,000 charge for a transfer that occurred within the same location. It appears this transfer was used to circumvent the storage fee limits that towing companies are subject to. Instead of charging the regulated daily storage rate, they began charging approximately $125 per day. What's even more concerning is that these charges began accumulating before I was ever notified that my vehicle had been recovered. I was later told that they were unable to contact me for nearly two weeks because they allegedly could not locate my information. However, during that same period, storage fees continued to accumulate. Conveniently, they were able to charge me for those two weeks while claiming they had no way to reach me. When I attempted to retrieve my vehicle, I was informed that credit card payments could not be accepted because their system was supposedly down. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to pay, I was ultimately forced to pay in cash. In addition, I was charged numerous unexplained fees, including charges related to "cleaning up" the location where the vehicle was found, despite my vehicle having no significant damage that would justify such costs. I filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. In response, Alfaro Motor provided statements that directly contradicted the documentation I possess. Once I submitted evidence disproving their claims, communication from them stopped entirely. At this point, my primary concern is no longer recovering my money. My goal is to ensure that other consumers do not experience the same treatment. Businesses that engage in these types of practices should be held accountable. I encourage anyone considering doing business with Alfaro Motor or Quality Automotive Towing to carefully review the numerous customer complaints and reviews that describe similar experiences. I intend to continue pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal and regulatory channels. Consumers deserve transparency, honesty, and fair treatment, not deceptive fees and questionable business practices.

Caution! Car was towed here by authorities after a major collision. When I went to inspect the vehicle the desk person presented me with a list of contracts to sign, one of which was agreeing to paying a storage fee, second was to agree to let them keep the vehicle if I didn't pay, third was giving them permission to do all repairs. Then they released my vehicle to another towing company, without my authorization (illegal). Now I'm chasing down who took it, while insurance adjusters are happily waiting. Consider a good lawyer if your vehicle is here. Notice all the 5-star reviews are from people that only made 1-4 reviews (not authentic). When people don't do their job, they create more work for everyone else.
View on GoogleABSOLUTELY WORST TOW TRUCK COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I waited 90 minutes for them to call and said they took another job and they would be another 90 minutes. They said they called multiple times and i didn’t answer so they left. COMPLETELY FALSE. I was only car in the gas station. this company is liars, crooks, and do not care about the human beings they are supposed to provide service for. Dispatcher very unprofessional.
View on GoogleI’ve had Autobody work done on my car twice now with them, and I’m really happy with the quality of their work and the fair price. Yani, who works in the front office, is a very friendly person, and I really appreciate her honesty and her smile .
View on GoogleAnyone towed by Nypd and vehicle brought here? Contact me asap. They’re overcharging if you’re charged more than $125 plus toll and storage fees can only be $25 cap per day. Scam company
