Came to Anthony as per a recommendation of John the car wash owner on amboy road and clarke. I stopped to see what he thought of the damage done to my car by someone in a parking lot at SIU hospital and he didn’t hesitate at all. Told me right away go see Anthony at preferred auto! BOY am I glad I did!! Within a few minutes he had a plan in mind and started the process of removing the scratch without needing a new paint job. The following day I went back for the dent removal process which really left me in awe!! Anthony then buffed the area again before I left. WOW what a nice guy and good businessman. Other places were quoting me over 1500 across 4 days to fix the dent and then repaint 3- 4 times bc of the white color of my car. I was miserable until I walked into Preferred Auto. It was my first time there and I couldn’t recommend this place and Anthony more!! He even touched up my rim that had some paint missing from accidentally hitting a curb. No judgement either!! The best, honest, courteous and all around great experience. the first two pics are before. ... the third is after Anthony buffed the scratch out and then the last pictures are no dent no scratch My car was only a month old so while these pictures may not seem so bad to you I was so angry since I had just purchased it a month ago. Get your car body work done here!!! PERIOD!! They hooked my Dodge Charger up! *Update!* This 2026 Blizzard never had a chance with the paint on this car. Preferred Auto Body put the absolute right stuff on it. I also want to mention they did put the custom racing stripes back on the Dodge Charger. Best place ever!

I was referred to Anthony at Preferred Auto Body after my car was damaged, and I’m so grateful I was. He clearly explained the entire repair process and immediately put me at ease, assuring me that he could take care of everything. He even arranged a rental car for me and I was picked up directly from the shop. Throughout the repair, Anthony kept me updated on the progress, which really helped ease my anxiety. When I picked up my car, I was amazed—it looked flawless. I genuinely forgot which side had been damaged. The dents were gone, the doors were perfectly painted, the tires were shiny, and the whole car was freshly washed. It felt like I was driving away in a brand new vehicle. I couldn’t be more thankful for the service, professionalism, and genuine care Anthony provided. His team did an incredible job. Highly recommend!

I could not recommend this place more!!!! Seriously, this is hands down the best auto shop experience I’ve ever had. From the second I walked in, they were professional, honest, and just genuinely great to deal with. Anthony was AMAZING, super knowledgeable, transparent about everything, and got my car fixed in literally 1 hour. I was expecting to be without my car all day, and instead I was back on the road almost immediately. It’s so rare to find a shop you actually trust, and this is 100% that place. Anthony and his team went beyond and above expectations. They were supportive in every way when dealing with the insurance company and the rental company. They made the whole process as easy as possible. Car came back looking wonderful and perfect condition. We will always use them in the future.
