By far the best shop I've taken my car to in NYC. Used to come here all the time because we lived close by. The prices were a little higher than some other shops in the area, but they were fair and the work was good. After we moved we started going to other shops and it was terrible. Eventually needed a head gasket replacement and we brought the car back here because we trusted them. It was a huge job, but the price was fair and the team there gave us regular updates and was easy to work with.

They’re honest, straightforward, and actually take the time to explain what’s going on without any pressure or upselling. I trust them completely and wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of my cars here. Whether it’s something quick or more involved, the service is fast, the pricing is sensible, and the work is solid. It’s rare to find a shop that’s this reliable and this fair. If you’re looking for a place that treats you with respect and takes real pride in their work, this is it. I can’t recommend Precision Auto Works enough.

Michael, the owner, was also hands-on and made sure everything was handled thoroughly and professionally. They diagnosed the problem quickly, showed me the damage, and walked me through the repair options without pressure. The team was transparent with pricing and timelines, and they even gave me some solid tips on preventing rodent issues in the future. I had a rat get into my engine bay, and these guys handled it perfectly. They thoroughly cleaned everything up, added preventative measures like ultrasonic devices and anti-rodent tape, and turned the car around incredibly fast. On top of that, the pricing was very fair and the communication was consistent and clear throughout the whole process. Definitely a shop I’d trust again.
