Nor Cross Service Station

Freddie the mechanic is 'extremely' knowledgeable about cars. My 2007 Hyundai Elantra LTD belt broke off 2 or 3 times. I paid over $300 for a bolt that another mechanic said I needed. It wasn't easy to get...this was a few years back. Not thinking it would brake again, but it did. Freddie said if he doesn't change the alternator the belt will brake again. This made sense to me. I like when people know what they are talking about.

I like this place because Manjit has saved me in an emergency so many times. He tells me what things will cost beforehand, which is important to me. Ive been to mechanics who surprise you with extra costs, so that is important to me.

If this is the "Nor" station (there are a couple that share that name-fragment) in which Hogan works - I offer a strong endorsement. Had significant issue arise while crossing the Throg's Neck(!) - overheating, electrical problems, and power steering loss... all at once. Made it off the clearview, got towed to Nor. Hogan was exceptional. Loss of serpentine belt is not a difficult diagnosis - but he was fast, candid, and honest - and very pragmatic about what additional work might be in order, but brought no pressure to the convo. Really solid customer-facing guy that would likely excel in any service-oriented business. Go there with confidence, and ask for Hogan.

Nor Cross is the ideal place to for all your car needs. It ranges from inspections/Oil changes/ any emergencies that arises. Manjit and his workers not only take care of your car but they make sure they take care of you. The loyalty they show to me and my family intern we will always be loyal to them.

Always have a great experience servicing my car here. Been coming for several years. The manager is professional and courteous. The lobby area always clean and neat.
