Brought my BMW to M-Chanics, a BMW and exotic car repair shop to have a rattling noise from the engine/transmission area. Their diagnosis was loose flex plate bolts...two days later I was told my car was ready, when I saw them driving it out the shop the same noise was still there. They then changed my water pump, idler wheel and tensioner, drive belt, did a transmission service, and still after two weeks the noise was still there. They gave me a bill of $4,300 which was negotiated down. I asked Chat GPT to recommend a shop after explaining the symptoms and it recommended NYTG.
