I had a very bad experience with this shop. I came in because of an EPC light on my car. The mechanic scanned it and told me the issue was the auxiliary pump and that I needed to buy a new one from the dealer. I spent time and money getting the part, and he installed it in about 10 minutes and charged me $110 for labor. After all that, the EPC light was still there and nothing was fixed. When I asked him about it, he changed the story and said the problem is “electrical” without any proper diagnosis or explanation. He also claimed I only came to remove the check engine light, which is not true—the issue is still there. No clear troubleshooting, no accountability, and poor communication. I basically paid for a guess that didn’t solve anything. Would not recommend.

Good, satisfying job at a cheap price. Very happy with the service at New York Auto of LIC. Honest work and great value. Highly recommend!
