I visited MK Technologies on 12/16/2025 to fix a Viper DS4 remote start issue. On very cold days, my car would start remotely but shut off after two minutes. Viper/VOXX support confirmed this is a tach signal issue and said it must be handled by a preferred authorized dealer. Since MK Technologies installed my system, I trusted them to fix it properly. From the start, the experience was unprofessional. One employee mocked me, telling a coworker, “customers always do the same thing, they come back after a year complaining,” and laughed. Another repeatedly claimed my system was “old” and needed replacement, insisting I “complain every year,” which is false. After hours of waiting, one installer disconnected my DS4 module to “reprogram” it. When reinstalled, my Viper app no longer connected, creating a bigger problem than I came in to fix. Keep in mind everything was working before they mishandled my viper system, I also have proof of that. Also I did not pay anything since my whole system was mishandled not working basically when I left. I requested a service and they created more issues. Technical Note: The DS4 allows authorized dealers to reflash, reconfigure, and troubleshoot wirelessly via DirectLink or Direct Loader apps, specifically for tach signal issues. There was no reason to disconnect it, since it fully supports Bluetooth diagnostics. Disconnecting it was reckless, unnecessary, and caused additional failures. Their actions did not follow Viper procedures and created avoidable problems. When I was told to contact Viper support myself, Viper confirmed the dealer must call tech support. MK Technologies refused. When I stayed on the phone, the installer pretended the call disconnected, and later Kevin falsely claimed the call dropped. I was there from 10:30 AM to nearly 3 PM. When I asked for proper service, I was told to “come back tomorrow.” Another employee said I was “wasting their time” and refused service. I was willing to pay, yet I was treated with hostility, disrespect, and neglect, despite trusting them and referring multiple people to their services. They even claimed Viper “doesn’t know anything” and that installers can act independently. This is false. A proper dealer must follow Viper’s instructions, as the second dealer I visited, Concept 2000, did. They followed the proper process, restored full functionality, and resolved my tach and app connectivity issues, proving MK Technologies refused to follow procedures. I have 24/7 multi-channel cameras, so all interactions are documented. I went to Concept 2000, Bronx, and paid $281 to fix the tach issue, restore app connectivity, and confirm the system was mishandled. Because I refused to spend an additional $500 on a new system, MK Technologies abandoned support, mishandled my DS4, and falsely claimed it was “fixed.” This is unacceptable. It’s a shame I supported them by referring family and friends to install this alarm and others, trusting them to provide proper service. Yet, when I had a legitimate problem, this is how I was treated m, with disrespect, dishonesty, and negligence. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I cannot recommend MK Technologies Automobile Services. Photos and video shows date and time and my last refresh to the viper app which showed that I refresh the app inside the dealer. Be aware of this dealer, also an photo on my receipt from Second dealer, i was quoted 120 for the repair but since the first dealer mishandled the system I end up paying 272.

Wish I had looked at some of the reviews before coming here. For tints or minor things they’re fine. Anything else? Run! The amount of times they’ve told me to come back to fix something and either the part is missing OR the second owner has no idea about why you came nor what needs to be done because they don’t communicate. They have THE WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. They are scammers whom make promises regarding your vehicle and then do a half ass job. I have two grills on the front of my car to which only 1 was fixed, the other was left broken. I have paint splatter on the hood of my car from them fixing the SIDE. No final walk through, didn’t ask how I felt about the car nor what was fixed. MIND YOU not everything has been fixed and we’re going on over TWO MONTHS & best believe they’ve already collected insurance money long time ago. I’ve contacted them numerous times to no avail, it’s always some excuse. I promise you do not want to be associated with them.

I'm not new at this. You know a good baber, but a tinter 3 have failed already. I'm a car detailer as a hobby, and when I detail, I make sure it's up to customer standards.
View on GoogleCalled up asked about tints, this area is flooded with many different shops that do the same thing. Guy said come right in to get my windows tinted. Professional guide me to reverse in the garbage took roughly about 45 minutes did a good job. No issues on a Tuesday after work. Will recommend in future.

I waited to see if it was just me but I went to another shop for professional feed bck nd they even told me it was a horrible job I paid $250 for all windows iWas the last car there so really was no rush but he seemed to b in a hurry nd the work looks like a rush job really mad I feel I wasted $250 really wish I could of known
