Honest work for an honest price. Came in one morning to drop my car off for an inspection however they managed to squeeze me in and I left within an hour. Had oil changes, spark plugs, and other work done here all without issue.

I came here early morning for a NYS inspection because the shop has great reviews. The place didn’t seem busy, but I was told to leave my car all day just for the inspection. No clear explanation was given. This isn’t typical for a basic inspection so I ended up going elsewhere.

I had a great experience with LIC Auto Service! I had an urgent issue with my car, and they were super quick to help. Tom was really nice on the phone and got me in for an appointment the next morning. They explained everything clearly, were upfront about the work, and very professional. I really appreciated how honest and helpful they were. The price was fair too. I definitely recommend them!

This review is about 10 years overdue—so yeah, sorry Jeff! When I moved to NYC back in 2012, every shop I went to managed to screw me over in new and creative ways—first with my Audi, then with my BMW. The final straw was when one place installed a bad transfer case on my BMW. Like, come on. That’s not even a cheap mistake. My buddy kept telling me, “Dude, just go see Jeff at LIC Auto already.” So in 2016, I finally did. I was living in Queens at the time, and Jeff got my BMW running again fast, at a fair price, and most importantly—he didn’t make things worse. Which was a first. Now it’s 9 years later, I live all the way out on Long Island, and I STILL make the trip to LIC Auto. I don’t trust anyone else with my cars. Jeff and his crew are honest, sharp, and they actually fix the issue the first time instead of playing guessing games on your dime. People say a good barber is hard to find—same goes for a good mechanic. Jeff is both… but thankfully he only charges for car work.
