KEW Gardens Car Service

Today December 4th 2025 I was threatened by kew cab driver because I was having difficulty with paying by zelle . I am a flight attendant and I was in full uniform I will file a police report.

I see why the ratings are so low. I gave the dispatcher my hotel destination, the dispatcher then gave the driver the incorrect hotel information. As I became privy to this information during the ride, the driver tried charging me more money— my destination was closer in route than the mistaken address! I then tried to dispute the issue with the dispatcher when I called back, but the manager answered and simply blamed me for the issue, demanded me to pay more or the driver would toss me on the side of the road with my luggage. I couldn’t even get a word in to explain the miscommunication— This company is a joke, completely unprofessional— I do not recommend to any cabin crew or hotel guests.

I use this car service at least 8 times a month… sometimes they are late, sometimes they don't show up but im ok with that because I always have a plan B. Im giving them 1 star because of the terrible and traumatic experience I had last night with Ester(one of the drivers). As soon as she picked us up( Myself and another coworker) both airline employees, she started yelling, threatening us and Being extremely aggressive for no reason. She then started driving but she wouldn’t say where to(not to the location I requested). She appeared to be intoxicated and the whole situation was extremely uncomfortable and scary, we had to call the police. We asked her to drop us off multiple times and she refused to do so. After she realized we had the police on the phone she did drop us off. This was not the 1st time I drive with her and in multiple conversations she had say Robert and Liza (Coordinators) have favoritism with other drivers and asked me to call her directly ( not sure if she got mad because I didn’t do so). Long story short saving 5 or 10 box its not worth it when you have to deal with all of this. Please be safe and ride Uber or Lyft!

I’m airline crew and have used this cab company quite a bit. They have always been pleasant on the phone . Today though o totally missed my flight. I called they said they would be there in 15min make a stop in Kew Gardens. I told them I had to be at JFK by a certain time. They said no problem. 26minutes later is when the cab shows up still had to make a stop in Kew Gardens. I wanted to cry. If you tell me ahead look for other transportation we aren’t going to get you there , great, I’ll do that. Now I lost hours and have attendance points. 😵

Excellent hands-on service for our Church-in-the-Gardens member Bette Sheets, especially when she left behind her cane. The driver immediately noticed and had it back in her possession within 10 minutes. True life-saver
