Jcp auto is a very trustworthy, reliable, and excellent shop. Jamie was extremely helpful. I can’t stress enough- they are patient- honest- will explain the entire issue in detail. And they are very fair in price. I highly recommend them and will be using them moving forward Changed my links and tie rods- most mechanics would insist on doing shocks and struts on top, in my experience. They will repair what needs repair and clarify what is not needed. My mechanic retired. I know about cars.

JCP Auto a Lifesaver (and professional and Courteous). While traveling on a 90°+ day for a vacation trip from Brooklyn to RI, our Hyundai Kona started overheating. We were lucky to find JCP Auto repair. We showed up late afternoon with no appointment and Chris didn’t bat an eye. He explained what he could do and fit us in immediately. (And with family and a dog, we really appreciated the air conditioned waiting room). Chris’ team diagnosed the issue running first the “simple tests” until they ruled out problems of a broken fan or coolant leak. They recommended a replacement thermostat , but with none in stock for a Kona, Chris called around and finally found a Hyundai OEM part which they picked up, installed, and tested — causing the team to stay one hour past closing. Prices were fair and all options and estimates were provided before the work — so no surprises. The repair fixed outlet issues and we were able to get to our destination with 4 more hours of trouble-free highway driving. 5 stars. And a big thank-you.

I came here because my abs light was on he told me it’s my control arms. I told him to repaired it he charge me 1000$.And 3 day pass again the abs light turn on. I came back to tell him he came more mad at me .. they just such a scammers I won’t recommend people going there cause they would just rip you off

I had a disappointing experience at [Shop Name]. I brought my car in for a routine check-up, and they told me that I needed to replace a part that was supposedly worn out. They quoted me $500 for the repair. Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion from another mechanic, who confirmed that the part was in perfect condition and didn’t need replacing at all. It felt like they were trying to upsell unnecessary services. I would advise anyone to be cautious when dealing with this shop and always get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive repairs. Very untrustworthy.

“Extremely disappointed with this shop! I brought my car in for brake repairs, and not only did they fail to fix the issue, but they actually made it worse. The customer service was terrible—the receptionist was rude and impatient when I asked questions. They initially promised the car would be ready in a week, but it took them over two weeks to get back to me. When I finally picked up the car, I found out they had replaced the headlights without informing me and charged me a hefty amount for something I didn’t authorize.
