I tried to give this shop the benefit of the doubt, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I brought my first vehicle in for an alignment and tire mounting and was told it would take about 1.5 hours. I ended up waiting over 5 hours. The next day I brought my second vehicle in for a simple alignment, which took another 4 hours. After leaving, both cars were still clearly misaligned, as if the service had not been done at all. I returned with the first vehicle and after another 2-hour wait, the alignment was redone and finally corrected—suggesting it was not done properly the first time. I then returned with the second vehicle and waited another 2 hours, but the alignment was still not fixed, and the printout I received showed no difference between the before and after measurements. In total, I spent over 10 hours across multiple visits trying to get two basic alignments completed, and when I asked for a refund for the unresolved service, I was told no refund would be issued. I came in for an alignment on my car and I paid but did not get what I paid for. The mechanics seemed reasonable, but the front desk customer service, especially from Kim, was extremely unprofessional. At the very least, I expected honesty if additional repairs were required instead of repeatedly being told the vehicles were fixed when they clearly were not. I rather be refused the service that my vehicle can not have alignment service done rather than robbed. Overall, this was a huge waste of time and very frustrating experience, and I would strongly recommend others be cautious. Also sometimes it gets busy and Kim does not know how to manage everyones expectations causing the workers to be overworked and customers frustrated. I wish them the best.

I have been coming to this shop since the 80’s. My father use to come here. Henry is an honest man. His crew is extremely competent. His son is also a respectable young man. I have alway had a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Hempstead auto care for any repairs. If the don’t do the work required they recommend qualified people.

Very honest and reliable workers. I had a small issue with my car which was fixed quickly. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely come back here in the future

New year's eve that replaced both frog lights and one of the fog light connector was burnt out, so they changed it, and everything's reconfined.Very nice, polite, respectful people.They respect you very nice clean place restroom.Everything's clean
