So, called for a quote to get my REAR brakes and rotors ONLY on my 2018 Nissan Murano changed, explained to the gentleman who picked up that I had all parts (brakes, rotors, full brake kit). The guy said let him speak to his boss. Came back and quoted me $600+!!! I of course said thank you and hung up. Got a call a few seconds later, thinking to myself, yea they definitely know that was crazy. Pick up, guy asks “wait, you said you have your own parts right?” I repeat to him, yes full brake kit for the rear. He says “oh ok, $400+” lol. Told him “yea, that’s still a bit pricey” and again hung up. I know times are hard but what?!?! I had ALL FOUR rotors and brakes changed at PepBoys last year, bringing my own parts for a total $337.51 for the service at the time (which makes me wonder why my rear brakes have worn so fast, with the front still having 8mm and my rear down to 1mm according to Nissan (and no I haven’t been driving with my parking brake on lol), but they said the Murano leans on its rear brakes to stop a bit hard, but damn, so maybe that or bad brakes). But no way to that shop for me. I’m really hoping that he had it in his head as all brakes and rotors, which I made VERY clear it was only rear, and even then, that pricing is a RED flag for me.

My check engine light with blinking drive light came on while I was driving indicating a possible transmission problem. I took my car to global transmission after talking to Ralph. He ran Diagnostics and told me that honestly that want it needs rather telling me that it needs a total replacement of transmission like all other transmission expert told me. Ralph was professional, honest and polite. They fixed my transmission problem withing 6 hours and Ralph test drove it with me for my satisfaction. I would recommend anyone with any mechanical issues to go to this place. The charges were nominal too. My overall experience was wonderful. Thanks to Ralph and his team, they have saved me a lot of headache
