Charged my husband 600 for a used part that did not function after two weeks. Went back to JR only to be told the car needs a NEW part to function properly. WHAT??? I am filing a complaint with the state of NY. JR said also that he could install the new part in for 1,300. What about the 600 I just spent on a used part that did not work after all? JR never offered the difference in price to us to put the new part in. Very unfair. We bought our car here in good faith because we had work done on our car before. This time around was a total disaster. Our car still has the same problem and we are out 600 bucks because we needed a new part the whole time. If you trust this repair shop then so be it. I see it has great reviews. That is why we went here. We won't be going back because of this last repair that was never done properly or fairly. We needed a NEW part from jump.....JR knew this. Beware of this place. AFTERNOTE: The new battery was installed after JR said we needed a new one. So we got one. The installation of the battery did not short out the system. JR knew we needed a new part the whole time. Ripped us off by putting a used part in that he knew wouldn't stand the test of time. Did not offer the difference in price to install a new part. That is why we did not honor the warranty. Filing a complaint with NYS Dept. Of Motor Vehicles. Please read the negative reviews about this place...I didn't. I see there are a lot afterall. BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Every warm (receptionist) and knowledgeable (owner). He knew just what the problem was at our introduction. I had so many machanic’s look at my car and left me with more bills and doubts. They had my car fixed and ready in a short morning. Would highly recommend G&A.
