Eltingville Auto Locksmith

They are scammers. Point blank period. My key got stuck and broke off in the ignition and we called them because their address was like a mile away. Their initial ETA was 40 minutes but we kept having to call them just for them to push the ETA even further - Ended up waiting 3 hours in a parking lot on New Year's Eve and when the dude finally showed up he charged $400 for I'm not even kidding you 2 and a half minutes of work. My key wasn't even broken (came out in one piece) and I had a spare so I didn't need a replacement. Completely shameless. I've literally never written a negative review in my life, and I understand that it's NYE. But 40 mins vs 3 hours is crazy when the place is listed as being a mile away and $400 for 2 MINUTES of work is just completely egregious and disgusting. I got completely extorted and I'm furious.

John (and his adorable dog Kaya) helped us out when we got locked out of our car in Leeds, AL. He arrived quickly and made us feel very comfortable and taken care of; felt like receiving help from a family member, even. A very kind and genuine professional — would recommend his services to anyone!
