Two Glaring Incidents of a Lack of Attention to Detail - Avoid this place if you care about your vehicle I don’t usually write negative reviews but these happened consecutively - I dropped off a 2023 with black rims for a simple service. I got all the way home and realized the tubes didn’t have caps on them. I go back the next day and the guy puts on grey caps. I asked where are my black caps and they said they couldn’t find them. The front desk said I could order some and come back a third time. Luckily someone else showed up and went into the shop and got black tube caps for me but one of the four didn’t match. At that point I gave up. - I gave them $200 for an oil change and an inspection. I get my truck back and my new floor mats and running board have brown shop floor grease on them all the way up to behind the pedals. My parking permit for my neighborhood is gone and the inspection sticker looks like someone slapped it on without looking. They were nice enough to dig through the trash and return my parking pass but to spend that much money and have my car be worse off than how it was when I dropped it off is absurd. I had to spend 40 minutes fixing their mistakes after giving them $200. This is just the sloppiness that I can see and the potential for what I can’t see is haunting. I’m gonna take my truck somewhere else to get another oil change because I’d say it’s 50/50 whether or not they changed the oil and if they did I would bet money it wasn’t done properly.

I recently had an oil change done at this shop, and unfortunately, the service was not performed properly. After leaving, I discovered that the engine undertray (engine cover underneath the car) was not correctly reattached. It was left loose and improperly secured. This is unacceptable because the undertray protects critical components from road debris, water, and dirt. Driving with it unsecured can cause damage or create a safety risk. This shows a lack of attention to detail and poor quality control. An oil change is basic maintenance, and properly reinstalling removed parts should be standard procedure. I’m disappointed with the workmanship and would not recommend this shop based on my experience. I expect better professionalism when it comes to vehicle safety.

The guys at the shop are fair and know what they are doing. I've stumbled into this shop when I ran into car troubles they were fair and got my car back on the road. Ever since, I've trusted them with all three of my vehicles. I believe Andy and Carlos have both worked on my cars; an engine replacement in my civic and suspension upgrade in my outback. They definitely earned me as a return customer. They are a local mom and pop business and Im willing to travel over the bridge just to get my oil changed by them.

I’ve been going here for years nothing but excellent work, honest and very nice people. If you need your car repaired this is the place believes me!!!

JV is the absolute best. I have dealt with countless mechanics in my life. He is fair, kind, and efficient. He does everything he can to not over charge you. He is also one of the nicest people on the planet. Hands down the best auto place in Rockaway Beach, Queens.
