I had damage on my front fender and had a small crack on the window. Andy helped me fixed both with very professional skills and fair price. The repair came out excellent. The car looks great, and the dent is completely gone. What impressed me most was his honesty. He took the time to explain the issue clearly and only recommended the work that was actually needed. No pressure or upselling, just straightforward and professional service. It’s hard to find a trustworthy auto body shop these days, and I would definitely recommend Douglaston Auto Care to anyone looking for quality work and fair pricing.

I had caught a flat tire on the cross Island. Luckily, I ran into this place, not only were they super attentive, they also respected the time schedule that I was on and did everything they could to help me. Not only was my tire punctured, but the rim was bent in a few places, and the owner physically hammered the rim until it all evened out which is something that they usually send out to get done. He understood that I was on my way to a very important appointment and got me out of there as soon as possible and assured me that the tire and rim was safe for me to drive with. As I was waiting, they also gave me a phone charger since my phone was dying. I would say amazing service, amazing people, amazing business!!!

For a long time, I was taking my car to the dealer but gradually learned that I could not trust them. My brother-in-law recommended that I consider Douglaston Auto Care. He noted that they were friendly and honest. He was correct. The first time I went, it was shortly after working with the dealer---I was hearing a strange sound and had just paid the dealer an exorbitant amount of money for repairs on my brakes (which I had been noting for several visits and the dealer and they kept saying nothing was wrong until it got so bad that it became an expensive job). I brought my car to Douglaston Auto Care and the sound was coming from my positioning of the rubber mat on the floor against the brake and gas. Another mechanic would have seen that as opportunity to take advantage. Not at Douglaston---they are honorable. They told me the truth. I have been going there ever since and will never return to my dealer. They are always truthful and explain in detail what has to be done. Their work is also impeccable. I give them my highest recommendation.
