Wanted to share the amazing experience I had with this shop I recently purchased a 2016 Jaguar F type R, one of the common issues on these cars as they age is the plastic coolant hoses and other plastic parts in the cooling system become brittle from the repeated heat cycles , and start the weep coolant. If you have a particularly compromised plastic coolant hose, it can burst on hard acceleration, and leave you stranded with an overheated engine. There are kits sold for complete replacement of these plastic parts, and everything is outlined in said kits. Knowing this, I emailed multiple shops that claimed to be specialists, and none got back to me. Except Dependable , of course. I emailed them at 9:30am on a Monday, Juan got back to me via email by 9:57am, and my car was dropped off to their shop by 11am after a quick call. Juan was incredibly nice and patient with me, answering all my questions , and addressing specific concerns I had (such as the supercharger on the car needing to be torque’d to spec). They also finished my car a day early, and let me pick it up at my convenience. The whole time Juan was communicative , provided a ton of pictures of the work, and never once pressured me to get more work done or anything like that. An absolutely stellar experience in a world full of shady mechanics and shops. On top of that, I thought the price for the work was incredibly fair , and well below what a dealer would charge for such extensive work! Thank you Juan and thank you Dependable!!

Dropped off car. Waited until 8:30 for them to open. My appointment was for 8:00. As i was walking home 15 minutes later they sent me an estimate of $241.00 for fixing the door mechanism of the right passenger door. I was going through Endurance so they sent the claim to them. Dependable Auto Repair calls me back to tell me that Endurance would not cover the cost because Dependable Auto Repair said that the mecanism was installed wrong. Mind you, I have had the car for 5 years and never had a problem with the way the factory installed. To make a long story short when I went to pay it was guven a quote of $241.00. I asked what was wrong with the door the technician said that the wire was loose. All he had to do was attach the loose wire. No new mechanism or part just attach the wire that was there already. On top of it they took my coffee and spilled it all along the back for the driver side and I found my mug on the ground next to my car. My rear sensor was poked in also. Not a good experience at all. I am a retired military member that doesn't have the time or the money to deal with nonsense. I will never ever step foot in your establishment.

I've taken my 2018 Ford Escape into this shop several times over the past year and a half. Their prices might be a little higher than the average shop but it's worth it for their good work and clear communication. I especially appreciate that they send a detailed breakdown of each suggested repair - if you hate having to wait for a phone call or haggling with mechanics, this is your place.

These folks are great. Quick and drama free service. They did my brake pads rotors, oil change and windshield wipers and a tire repair for less than the Kia service center quoted me for brake pads and rotors. I specially appreciate they kept updating me throughout the day on additional issues and sharing quotes on the additional charges via text. This will be my go-to mechanic from here on.

The Mgr. was telling me I didn’t trust him. He said things like it was all about me. I was getting an inspection and only needed a few bulbs to be replaced. They at first were going to charge me $75 to replace 4 bulbs, two of which were markers and I let them know after verifying with DMV that those aren’t needed to pass inspection. I figured if it was only 2 bulbs, they’d come down in price, instead were going to charge me $84. I waited for the Mgr to come back from lunch and let him know about the markers and it was because I was hving financial issues so it’s why I was looking to get less work done to pass, not that I didn’t trust them. He spoke with a coworker who had told me $84 and he came to tell me he wasn’t doing the work. He said pay the $37 and be on my way. That’s when he started saying it was all about me. Repeating it when I said I don’t have the money right now. I did leave, but I want everyone to know, he tried taking advantage of me, as I found a place that replaced the 4 bulbs for $30. Don’t go there! Very degrading and rude. It’s all about him, not the customer.
