CORONA MUFFLER SHOP

I had a very disappointing experience with Corona Muffler Shop and Dragon Tire Shop, both operated by Alberto Jaramillo. I brought my 2016 Toyota Sienna in for a P0430 code. Alberto scanned the vehicle and told me I needed a bank 2 catalytic converter. We agreed on a price, and I left the car at the 36th Ave location. The next day, I was told to pick it up from the Northern Blvd location. Shortly after, the same code came back. I took the vehicle to another mechanic, who confirmed that bank 2 had not been replaced. When I called Alberto, he incorrectly stated that bank 2 is located in the rear of the vehicle. After I explained the correct location, he said he has too many customers and does not remember the job. When I returned, he then claimed he replaced bank 1 instead, and accused me of being dishonest. During the conversation, he also stated that “this car has a lot of problems,” despite previously saying he didn’t remember working on it. He then offered to “fix it” for an additional charge—half of what I already paid. So after paying $850 for the wrong repair, he expected another $425 to correct it. When I asked for a receipt, he wrote my car’s make and model on a business card without verifying it and listed “bank 1 replacement,” which contradicts the original agreement. He also initially said he accepts card payments, but after the job was completed, he insisted on cash only. Additionally, I have concerns about the Northern Blvd location, as it does not appear to be a DMV-registered repair shop. I will be reporting this matter to the appropriate authorities (DMV) and pursuing it in small claims court. Overall, this experience was unprofessional and misleading. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

So this guy, totally helped me out, he did a open close valve exhaust for me and did a massive job on it the car sounds amazing, this guy is understanding and would advise you whats best for you and the price, awesome, would definitely go again.

Great work, great price, very professional. Ignore all the other similar-looking shops and the guys waving cards at you and MAKE SURE YOU GO TO CORONA MUFFLER SHOP. Had my cat stolen and brought a replacement here to have it welded on. Worked carefully, did the job right, and had me on the road in about 30 min. Even hooked up the O2 sensor. Charged me the same price he quoted me on the phone. Fair, honest and skilled work for less than the other places. 100% recommend

Pretty excellent work to be very honest. I requested a pretty big job and they got it done for a decent price. Don't goto the other guys in the area cause they either don't have what you need or want to charge you an arm and a leg for lower quality work.
