Castle Hill Bike Shop

BUYER BEWARE !!! I went to this bike shop to buy two tires and have them mounted on my rims.Tito, who is the owner of the bike shop sold me two tires costing $24.99 each. I told him that I will buy them with installation. He told me to wait about 15 minutes. I agreed to wait for the installation to be done. After he is done with mounting the tires on my rims, he hits me with a bill of $75 dollars. I asked why so much- He told me that each tire to be installed was $10 dollars, which quite frankly a no-brainer to do. He should of been transparent with me upfront instead of being a snake about it at the end. I was annoyed but I just left. This is why I'm giving you guy's heads up. Do your research first and take your time on your purchase. Don't do like me and run to the closest bike shop near you. After my purchase, I decided to do my research on these tires. It turns out that these tires online are only $11 dollars each. They're not even made in the USA. They come from the Czech Republic. He probably buys them cheaper than $11 dollars wholesale being this he must buy these in bulk. This is why these online stores such as Amazon and other suppliers are putting businesses like these out of business because of their foul practices. I have friends that have already complimented on my tires. I directed them to the website that has them way cheaper and they are super easy to install. The morale of the story is. DO NOT !!! Go to this store or recommended anyone to this store, unless you want to create enemies. Safe shopping my people's. Dont let people like these rob you right in front of your face. Save some money and take your time on your purchase. If you do decide to visit this bike shop ask for a full transparent price up front. Happy shopping.

Best shop to ever come through. They help me with my breaks. Replace my chain, new varieties of other bikes to for young kids to adults. There the best around

I only imagine that most bad reviews I've read are from from non-riders (bicyclist without a passion to ride) or have limited cycling know-how! Castle Hill Bike Shop is the experienced bicyclist's dream place. The guys here will work with you. I was able to pay less for great service and tremendous knowledge!

I’ve been coming to Castle Hill Bike Shop for a while now, and it’s hands down one of the best shops in the Bronx. The owner, Tito, is not only a great guy but also extremely knowledgeable about bikes and scooters. He’s always willing to share information and give honest advice, which is rare these days. I’ve brought in my Scott Addict, Cannondale Bad Boy, and most recently my Raptor Yume scooter for service. Every time, Tito has been professional, very efficient, and the service is done quickly without cutting corners. Best part—his prices are very reasonable for the quality of work he provides.
